I was doing some research and found out that only two places in Florida have the Coke freestyle machine(s). Obviously we know one is the DTD AMC. The only other one is at Richter's Burger Co. at Universal Studios Orlando (probably because it is one of the least busy of the counter service restaurants in the park). Surprised it isn't anywhere else in the state, though!

Nope. Think of it like you mixing different soda's at a fountain. Same thing, just using the same spout (for lack of a better term) for every flavor, using a touchscreen. I will say this: I'm definitely trying a different mix when I see Tron: Legacy at DTD. Maybe a Fanta with a little Vault and cherry Coke. Or maybe just an orange flavored Coke. Who Knows?

I think that is the one where there is a youtube video of some french guys that were able to get out of the program and play minesweeper on the machine.

Never seen the video but the machine is a touchscreen so obviously it is run by a computer system, so it is possible.

If you want to mix Sprite with a Coke, then yes.

Do those machines cost about the same as a plain flavored drink from a coke machine?

The ones I have seen are replacements for the fountain units you would see in various places, so no price change.

We ended up walking through the downtown disney/pleasure island/west side a few times on this trip and it was sad seeing all the old buildings. I remembered the Adventurer's club and I loved the comedy club, and now they are just empty shells or shopping stores Just sad

I don't know. It was my girlfriend's turn to get tickets and food/drink. When we go to see Tron Legacy next week, I'll save the receipt. I am going to assume that it goes by how big the cup you choose (if I remember correctly, there were three sizes to choose from and the smallest was pretty big) but I could be wrong.

It is sad. I hate driving past that Pleasure Island sign on Buena Vista Drive. The whole island is basically dead. I wouldn't be surprised if the hosts outside Paradisio 37 or whatever it is called start begging people to eat there.

I know some were wondering about the price of the drinks from the new Coke Freestyle. Forgot about this thread and after seeing Tron Legacy almost 2 weeks ago, I remember a small (which was pretty big...) was $4.75 (could be $4.25 but I don't remember clearly at the moment).

UPDATE: The East side of Pleasure Island 24 is now closed for the construction of the dine in theater(s). I am looking forward to this!

I posted this in the duplicate thread but I sooo wonder what they are doing with the dance floor on Mannequins. That was just all around awesome! But I haven't been back since I moved last June I'm supposed to be going down to visit my family and friends the first weekend next month (February). I'll need to go and see what's left now.
