I loved JIYI but I would have to go with horizons. It was the pavillion we HAD to go to. I just wanted to push the button on the end to choose which video I saw, I don't know why I liked that do much. I think I just loved that I got to do something!

Yes, I was on Stich's Great Escape when it was in previews right before it officially opened. I was with my sister-in-law and my 8 year old (at the time) nephew. We were extremely disappointed and we were so happy that we did not have to wait on line. Little kids are still afraid. Stitch blows in your ear, jumps on your sholder and stinks you out. I would never waste time with this attraction again.

My favorite ride at Epcot used to be Journey Into Imagination. I was totally shocked when they changed it. It is so tragic that now Figment is a little know-it-all dragon instead of a cute little guy that had to have Dreamfinder show him what imagination was all about. Isn't there any way it could go back to the way it was?!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I agree, figment used to be funny, now he's just annoying

I picked Horizons and as somebody mentioned it here, I have some strong memories of the orange smell... :D And I had fun choosing our ride in the desert, in the sea or in space.

Had to pick 20,000 because it is the only one I remember from when I was a kid ( I was 7). I used to do whatever my brother wanted to do now it is the other way around.

Mr. Toad's Wild ride was my choice since I remember it better than any of the others from my childhood. Plus I always liked the Wind in the Willows.

I'd have to say World of Motion only because it was the only one I know I went on as a kid. I just don't like the theming of Test Track nowadays.
I'm a loud long lean loquacious and sometimes laphonic lunatic who loves to deal delve and dable in delirious dialogue and dynamic disertations.

Stitch's great escape is much better than i thought it would be. It set back when stitch was evil so still retains some of the scare factor that Alien encounter had, though obviously not as much.
The seeting with the alien in the middle is much the same, as is the fact that the alien escapes, the lights go out and the alien moves arround jumping on your shoulders and breathing down your neck. The difference is that having stitch bounce on your head isn't that scary... even for younger children.
Personally i happy that it changed as i was very young when i first went on Alien encounter and it petrified me. I have still never watched the Alien films because of that ride!!!

I rode Alien Encounter when I was little too, and it scared me to tears  . I really wish I could have ridden it again now that I'm older :(. I haven't been on the Stitch version yet though.

Even though I might have said Horizons before, the original Journey Into Imagination will always be in my mind.

the Dreamfinder and Figment are the 2 greatest non-movie characters ever created.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.

I really miss Discovery island. It was a different experience.
