I actually loved Body Wars, and I still love Star Tours. I am not a fan of real roller coasters, but motion simulator are okay with me. I love em! I guess it helps that I have an iron stomach. :)

Not sure what happened to my pics from the Flower and Garden festival, but I went back during the Food & Wine fest to see what more has been done to strip WoL down to nothing. Here are my observations:

1. The "Celebrate the joy of life" message outside the front doors is gone
2. Cranium Command is even more buried behind potted plants and catering equipment
3. The Making of Life theater was playing the Seasons of the Vine movie from DCA
4. Body Wars queue is still boarded up

I could not get back to check on Buzzy. They moved the potted plant barrier up and there were cast members everywhere. I think they were waiting for me. :)

it wasn't my favorite pavillion, but what a waste. So is the odyssey - I wish Disney would sort out Epcot.

well seems fitting they removed the "Celebrate the joy of life" as they have essentially killed that pavilion.

Closing that pavilion and letting it waste away is one of my biggest pet peeves..just really annoys me

I'm constantly told by CM's that Disney has not officially closed the Wonders of Life.

But after hoopla they had when they officially announced the closing of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Disney has gone to a different approach instead: quietly end operations of it, let it sit for a while until people just forget about it, and then turn it into something else. That's what they did with Timekeeper. Quietly ended its operation, let it sit for a while, then eventually re-opened it as the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. Disney avoids officially closing anything anymore.

I expect they have imagineers thinking already of how to revamp that space in EPCOT, even if includes total demolition like they did with Horizons.

"Celebrate the Joy of Life" has been down since before F&G. I have a pic of that right before they took it off, for those who want to see.

I snooped around Pure and Simple when I was there. None of that had been taken out. Even the spaces for cash registers were still there!

I must say, the bathrooms in there are so vintage. I mean, you still have to flush yourself and turn the faucet! No automatic stuff... I like. :D

As much as I loved Wonders of Life, I hope they tear it down and put another pavilion there. It is some prime real estate that could probably hold some awesome rides that would fit into Future World.

And for the love of Pete, no rollercoasters please! Put something up that the entire family can enjoy. If they can't keep Alien Encounter because it's too intense for the youngins, then why keep other rides that children can't enjoy?

I highly doubt that it will get torn down. Unfortunately, to me, it seems like it will be having the same fate as the Millennium Pavilion and Odyssey restaurant. I am hopeful that Disney will do something with it. However, keep in mind what some of the newer additions that Disney put in. Mission Space that replaced Horizons and Test Track from World of Motion.

But to build Mission: Space they did tear down the old Horizons building. I expect they could do the same with either Wonders of Life or the Millenium Pavillion once they have decided on something better to put there.

Yeah, they could, but a lot of the reason that Horizons had to go was due to the "sink hole" under the attraction and major issues with the roof including the fact that it was claimed it was close to collapsing under it's own weight. The Wonders of Life Pavilion is in relatively decent shape and does not have any of those types of issues. If anything is going to go there, Disney would just have to redo the building. I highly doubt they would just tear it down unless there is something that we don't know about.

True, but it really depends on what they come up with next to put their. It could be that the building would not fit the "theme" for the next attraction. Also, the Millienium Pavillion looks like it was never meant to be a permanent structure either.

You make a great point about the Millennium Pavilion. I originally thought that when the rumors of Soarin' coming to WDW started that it would be there instead of in The Land. It does look temporary and it doesn't really seem to fit in. I would still like to see something done with that space like a new country for the World Showcase.

I do agree with that! World Showcase could use a new country! So many have announced as "coming soon" - Israel, Equitorial Africa, Spain, Russia - but none were ever built. And what about South America? If they can't add a new country, why not expand on the ones there now? I remember once at MK they showed plans to expand Japan - Ginsu shopping area at night (enclosed like Mexico) and Mt. Fuji ride like the Matterhorn at DL - but again, never happened!
