My preferences are out of date since I haven't been to WDW since 2000, but these were my faves:

* Beaches & Cream (Beach/Yacht Club)
* Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge)
* Mickey's Kitchen (Downtown Disney)
* 50s Primetime Cafe (MGM)
* Rose & Crown Pub (England Pavillion, Epcot)

Thanks alot for all the food talk, now I'm starving!! One of the best places to eat I think is Trails End Bufferteria. It's at Fort Wilderness campground. Our last trip we stayed at the contemporary and took a lovely boat ride over to the campground and then enjoyed the petting zoo and the horses. The food is buffet and is GREAT!!! Then we took the boat to MK and watched the parade. We made it back to our hotel in time for the electric water pagent. It just doesn't get any better than that :mickey:

I have many favorites. But, I think my most favorite it is "The Whispering Canyon Cafe" at the Wilderness Lodge. It was my first visit to this eatery when all at once I hear this waiter saying to the guest "RIDE THE HORSE!" Watching the guest ride the horse around the dining room put me into a laughing fit. Well, guess who rode the horse around the dining room next? Yeppers, me! I was laughting all the way around. What a fun place to eat!! But, "Mom's" at the MGM Studios is just as much fun. "Get your elbows off the table!!!" :mickey: :mickey:

I have only eaten in the parks and I felt that the food in the parks was the biggest let down. Apart from a very small selection of half decent outlets the vast majority seemed liked glorified McDonalds. The only plus was at least they had salads. Hardly any of the outlets provided table service which was a big suprise.

Can't really answer for breakfast since we always grab a quick light bite at the resort.

Lunch: Rose and Crown is our favorite lunch spot for the 1st day. A swift walk from the Beach Club awards us with a quick pint and a great "welcome back" view of the World Showcase Lagoon!

Dinner: Another vote for Jiko!

This could get difficult since there are so many good choices, but I'll go with my first reaction:

Breakfast - Chef Mickey's (Contemporary)
Lunch - Pecos Bills (MK)
Dinner - Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge)

For me it would have to be.....

Breakfast- Chef Mickey's
Lunch- San Angel Inn
Dinner- Whispering Canyon Cafe, California Grille, or Le Cellier

Can't go wrong with any of those. :mickey:

Pepper Market is unbeatable for breakfast, lunch or dinner for a counter service meal. The best table service meal is Biergarten, food is always great and so is the entertainment. We always do two adrs for there on our trips.

Mmmm ... getting hungry reading through this. My perfect Disney Dining Day would be:

Breakfast - Trail's End at Fort Wilderness
Lunch - Columbia Harbor House or Le Cellier
Dinner - Cinderella's Royal Table -before- they changed the menu to the all characters thing, California Grill since then.

And of course a snack at the dole whip stand. Now if only I could eat this much in a day I'd get that dining plan and be all set. 8)

For me it's...

Breakfast - Chef Mickey's
Lunch - Fish and Chips stand in England
Dinner - Jiko

I would have to say California Grill gets a spot for ambiance. However, I wish they would turn the lights off again during the fireworks.

I also really like Ohana's for breakfast.
