If you could only see one nighttime extravaganza at WDW, which one would it be?

I'd rather be riding one of the mountain rides, tower of terror or rock n roller coaster instead of watching a show or parade.

For me, Illuminations fits with Epcot. It seems a bit easier to get a good spot.

IlluminNations is my favorite, especially the updated version. The old one was great, but I like the newer show better. The music is a lot better. :mickey:

I'm going with Illuminations, although Wishes would be a close second. The music from Illuminations is some of my favorite music ever, and it really stirs me when I'm hearing it live with the show. That music will be tough to top when the time comes for a change.

Illuminations by far!! Has anyone ever been to either the 4 of July or New Years Eve show? I've never seen anything like that before. It's really revved up!

Illuminations, especially the Christmas version. Apart from the exceptional music, I've never experienced fireworks that you could actually -feel- outside of that show. Crazy.

Fantasmic is one of my absolute favorite things about WDW. I've seen it dozens of times (going multiple times during certain trips) and I can listen to the soundtrack and never get tired of it. Amazing!

I also love Wishes!. It's definitely the best fireworks display I have ever seen and it's the perfect way to end a day at the Magic Kingdom.

When at MGM, R&R and Tower of Terror are walk on during the show. You can ride over and over!!

I like Illuminations, and I think the musical score for the show fits it well.

Nothing closes the night like RoE. Just an amazing, touching show.

I love Fantasmic!!! But I like the Disneyland version better than the Walt Disney World version.

I have to make a point to hit the parads and shows this trip. We always skip for short attraction lines...

I've seen Fantasmic once (2001) and Illuminations once (2000), Spectromagic circa 1998 or earier, haven't seen Wishes or anything at Animal Kingdom.

Hopeful to do in July.
