I definitely agree that I should get in free for my 30th as well! But I'll settle for just getting to be there.

I think EPCOT and I will live long and happy lives together - celebrating our birthdays together as much as possible!

Wait a sec... isn't a ticket to WDW free on one's birthday? So, theoretically, you SHOULD be able to get in free for Epcot's 30th!! Right?

I WISH I was going to be there right on my birthday - but i'll be there 10 days after my bday. But in my world, I celebrate my birthday MONTH!

That promotional deal was for one year and one year only. It was done a few years back and has not been repeated since...

I know D23 is planning an event on September 30th to celebrate the anniversary. We're hoping that maybe it will be affordable enough (yeah, right) to squeeze in a couple of days to celebrate. We'll have to wait and see.

Fun! Nobody has to know you and the park are the same age ~ unless you tell them

Nah, I remember it was just the MK when we first went in 1976. We went again when EPCOT was just a year or two old and I was 13. I prefer to think of myself as young at heart, even if the outside is starting to show some wear and tear. One of my students pressed me for my age today and finally guessed me to be 28 or 29 when I wouldn't tell her. I guess I must be holding up ok

For sure! I'm wondering what other fun things are in store for the month. I won't be there until the very end of the month, but at least I can still say that I was at EPCOT during its 30th Anniversary month! I'm going to go broke buying merch and food and drinks from the IF&WF!

Please, nothing on the ball. It was bad enough when they had a giant Mickey glove and wand over it. Almost as bad as the dreadful "castle cake"!
When are they going to finally free the Chinese Theater from that big ugly hat?
