Well if you want Refreshing, I recommend getting a Safari Amber when you're at AKL next to the pool. That's a good time.

I think they do Safari Amber at EPCOT and in the Animal Kingdom as well. I haven't tried it but I may next trip.

It's an amber...so darker than a light beer...but not a "dark beer". Basically it has more flavor than a lighter beer without being too heavy.Amy wrote:Is that a darker beer?theBIGyowski wrote:Love the Safari Amber!
It's the perfect beer for relaxing at AK...and goes great with a jalapeno cheese-filled pretzel.

I guess I would have to see it. I'm not a fan of dark beer ~ it tastes like coffee to me, and I'm not a fan of red beer either ~ those are too bitter. A jalapeño cheese-filled pretzel and a beer sounds like an excellent snack!
So you're a beer racist?

You can't really say a beer is bitter by the color alone since there are black lagers, for example, that are light, and there are sweet bocks and stouts.

Going by which beer is more attractive isn't always a bad thing. As a right-brained individual I would have to agree that I am drawn towards the better-designed bottles, although I am not very picky. Now if you want a cool looking bottle/jug, check out Kraken rum. Really neat label artwork based on old maritime mythos and the bottles themselves are super cool.

Better? I belonged to a beer club once and mostly ordered beers in bottles that I thought were pretty

So what you're saying is that you don't like anyone darker than alabaster? Yeah, not helping but you do have a show on Fox News next year.

Safari Amber is sold all over AK. It's on draft at Yak & Yeti, Pizzafari, Flame Tree BBQ and Restaurantosuarus. At EPCOT it is served at the Outpost in World Showcase.

Re: Best Beers in WDW
Whoa....I didn't even know the outpost sold booze! The only places I snagged a Safari Amber was at the AKL. HOWEVER, several ambers around the parks are actually the exact same kind, they just have a different name. I talked to a cast member asking about this and she told me (at least two) were the exact same, and brewed by the Annheisehr-Busch company (spelling?)...i'm currently trying to remember which other Amber it was....OH! I think it was one I had at the Coral Reef restaurant. Same kind, just different name.NaCler wrote:Safari Amber is sold all over AK. My upcoming March trip I'll have to try some new ones and report back on my findings.
