Those people are much harder to convince than people who think it is too expensive.
I can agree that for some people being jaded by the disappointment of other amusement parks could make you disinterested in Disney if you had never been to Disney before....

Unfortunately, I think that Disney is so well known now, that that wouldn't really be as much of a case any more than it used to be. But I think that a lot of people would never consider a Disney trip just because of the price. I know Disney is trying to tell people that it is affordable,t hat is pretty much what they have been touting in their commercials, but it is definitely an investment. (one I take once a year, haha!)

I prefer the theme, although i like the thrill :D

I have to say people at my job look at me funny for my repeat visits to Disney. But then again, I am not a beach-going person and they all go to the beach that is a hour away or the mountains which is 8 hours or so. I prefer to drive 5 and through immerse myself in the different places represented by the theming of Disney.

I also compare other places like some of you. The local festival with its yearly assortment of carnival are certainly not as appealing as they used to be. It just falls flat.

And I think Universal has started to theme their rides better simply from checking out what Disney has done. Follow by example. But I think Disney will always be best at it because they did it first.

There are a ton of people that wont go to Disney because of the expense. It's not a cheap adventure. I think the same people that don't go end up at a six flags or some other parks. Its a much cheaper ticket price. I believe you get what you pay for.

Completely agree. I've always loved Disney's ability to do both. I believe its what sets them apart from places like Universal who tends to just do one or the other well but not both. That said ... I do really wish the Yeti was working again. I'd even gladly sacrifice not getting to ride it for a vacation so that the next time I did ride it I would know that the Yeti would once again try to "get me"

Yes, I agree 100%, the kind of people who go to Six Flags usually wont go to Disney or if they do they will just go once to say that they have gone. It takes a special kind of nut (like us here) to want to only have the best themes and rides and thrills and fun that come with the Happiest Place on Earth! :D
