The other part from Mouseplanet.com that caught my attention was this:
During last week's State of the Resort presentation at the Disneyland Resort, Tom Fitzgerald, Executive VP & Senior Creative Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering, shared a brief video of the pod race scene from the new attraction. Though the video was not shown in 3-D as it will be in the actual attraction, it was clear that the effects will play an important role in the film. During the clip we saw, the Starspeeder winds up in the middle of a pod race, racing through a desert landscape and around buttes, dodging flying engine debris and narrowly avoiding a collision with the viewing stand at the finish line. Fitzgerald said the new ride has 54 possible combinations, and features brand-new pilot and "spokesbot" characters. "We even created Skytroopers," Fitzgerald said, describing them as "Stormtroopers who can fly."
54 possible combinations?!?!?
