Re: Buying Disney World Merchandise
I've done that before, M-dude, I could allow 3 days before check-in, but it didn't work when I mailed it to Len90. I think it took 5-6 days in that case! Allow extra time, as there seems to be problems with Disney Mail Central Processing for WDW (cutbacks maybe?)....
It still always seems easier to mail out of WDW than to mail into WDW.

I'm planning on shipping things home if I find anything really good. Are there supplies there at WDW that you can use to ship home? I don't think we will have room in our suitcases on the way down, even for folded up boxes

Contact the hotel conceirge to see if the business office at the resort carries USPS priority shipping shipping supplies or not. Otherwise, make some rome and pack it, which is what I had done in the past (and brought the stamps too)...Amy wrote:I'm planning on shipping things home if I find anything really good. Actually, they are fully equipped for shipping, even at the resorts. One time we had forgotten to pick up something that we had sent back to our room from one of the parks, and a week or so after getting home we suddenly got a package in the mail from WDW. We were like "what the heck...?" but when we opened it and saw the stuff we instantly knew what had happened. They have all kinds of boxes and packing materials you can use to send things out from there.Amy wrote:I'm planning on shipping things home if I find anything really good. Seems like everyone out-of-towner is getting ready for some shopping experience during their time coming up. Dec. 4 is not that far away now...

Yeah, it's a pretty big deal for us. You locals can just bop on over anytime you want, but we have to make special trips... this requires shopping.mindflipper wrote:Seems like everyone out-of-towner is getting ready for some shopping experience during their time coming up.
