All the cliches that I can think of was already posted, so I'll just say to save MK and EPCOT. MK is the main reason why people go to the parks, and I do not think Ak and DHS is better than Future World and World Showcase. I think EPCOT has potential for better rides than the other two parks if the imagineers work it right. As long as they stay away from character-themed rides like Nemo and out-of-place rides like Soarin, EPCOT should be okay. Those two rides are great, but it's not Future World. They make no sense where they are. Those two are MK rides.

While I agree with you...I sort of disagree as well. Walt designed the entrance and Main Street for the MK. Everything that was great about DL was copied over to the MK for WDW. So...really it was Walt's park...built with Roy's hands if you will. It's not really something I understood until I went to DL for the first time this past May. I felt like I was at home...and that I knew where I was even though I had never been there before. WDW is what Walt wanted from the beginning...he just didn't have the space and time to do it when he was alive.

i would save MK and epcot. animal kingdom is just a souped up zoo in my opinion, and hollywood studios while fun, is by far the least fun of the four. just save the tree lady from animal kingdom, bring her to world showcase walking around africa or something, lol.

I'm gonna be in the minority and save MK and DHS. I don't think MK needs an explanation at this point.

AK is a half day park so that would not be a good option. Although I love Epcot, I feel like a lot of it (at least on the WS side) is just shopping and food. I know they have scheduled performances but it's just not enough to save it. Also Epcot has never been open later than 9pm (at least not on any calendar I've ever seen)

DHS has WDW's only real thrill rides, it has rides and attractions for the family, it has some great restuarants. And I think if it were the only other park it would get the much needed attention that it has been lacking. Also, it can be open later than 9pm and it has Fantasmic, my all time favorite night show!

Without a doubt Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

I spend more time at EPCOT than any other park by far. Especially in the evening. I love everything about World Showcase.

The other two parks are good and I would really miss them, but I wouldn't want to go to the parks without the EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom.

agreed. i love epcot at night, walking around
the world showcase, & enjoying the cuisine & shops.
it's like a night on the town...

& why would we take down magic kingdom.
it's the center of all things disney.

I'd close water parks.

Can't close Magic Kingdom that is a given.

Epcot is easily my favorite, so no chance there.

Animal kingdom has grown on me as second favorite, gotta keep that too.

Hollywood Studios has potential, but it is unrealized potential. I'd fix it or close it. if I had to pick a Theme Park.

I have to agree with alot of people here... MK and Epcot.

Epcot is my favorite park by far, and MK has the most of Walt in it.

Close the two most recent, AK and DHS. Least memories from people over the years and the other two are the main staples of the World. Would be hard though as I've worked at the Studios and have tons of memories from there.

The best thing to save money would be to keep the parks open and fire all the overpaid executives. However, that doesn't answer the question at hand. It's too cruel to ask such a question, It's like asking which of your children you would save from drowning. But If forced to choose, I would have to save the two eldest. The Studios and Animal Kingdom would have to be sacrificed.

I guess I don't have to worry about the children issue, since I don't have any kids!! HAHAH!!!

I kind of like that solution best. Has anyone ever thought what would happen to all those animals if they closed the Animal Kingdom?
