AGREED. However, some people really need wheelchairs to access certain things. That doesn't mean they are lazy.snugglyevil wrote:People who rent out wheelchairs or elec. carts and then act like they are the only ones at the Parks. Worse yet, they try to use it to cut to the front of the line. It's laziness to it's greatest level.

Fastpasses
Agreed! I think fastpasses should be for the people who either have Disney Annual passes or people who stay at the Disney Resorts...

Re: Smokers
Yeah, guests walking around while smoking really irks me. Then when CMs approach them, they either pretend they don't understand, or they'll walk a little ways off and just smoke somewhere else, but still in the wrong area.earningmyfins wrote:Not to sound rude or anything to people who smoke but Disney has banned smoking freely and has given those who smoke a certain area for it. It sickens me to see people walking around, holding their kids hand, and having a cig in their mouth. There are other children around who might get sick from the smoke.
I get so ticked off when I see and I usually notify a Cast member.
I see this a lot at the resort bus stops. There isn't an ash tray there, get a clue!

I am a smoker by my own choice, but I still respect people who choose not to smoke. If I am in the parks, I find the most secluded designated smoking areas. I and all smokers out there can go a little while without a cigarette. It won't kill us. I find it very annoying as well when they just plop their big butts on a bench and light up. I have told a few to follow me to the designated area. CMs need to be a little more strict with this policy.

I am a smoker as well. My DW and I don't even smoke in our house, we smoke outside even in the winter. It bothers me when people light up where ever. It also bothers me when I'm in a designated smoking area and people still want to complain about smoking.agingerbugg wrote:I am a smoker by my own choice, but I still respect people who choose not to smoke. Lets face it smoking is a nasty dirty habit and it's very hard to quit. But if someone is in an area that they can smoke, leave them alone, they know the facts about smoking and your snide remarks aren't going to help.

Amen brother! And I am with you on the smoking outside. I know this will sound crazy, but I can't stand the smell of it in the house. At least I live in Florida, so the winter isn't that bad.Jacca5660 wrote: I am a smoker as well. My DW and I don't even smoke in our house, we smoke outside even in the winter. I frequently have to rent and ride in a wheelchair while I am at WDW. But, I never use it to cut in the line, even when the CMs beg me to do it. I hate that. I just need it because I can't physically walk around the parks, not because I don't want to wait in line.earningmyfins wrote:AGREED. Amen
If everyone followed your policy I'm sure there wouldn't be anything wrong.agingerbugg wrote:I am a smoker by my own choice, but I still respect people who choose not to smoke.
