No kidding...this is a vacation that requires caffeine.AVITWeb wrote:It makes a lot of sense to get them...personally, I get my money's worth just within the first few days refilling with coffee alone.

Oh no! I sure hope that's not the case. We recently booked our WDW for this year and we're staying at the Contemporary. And well, as you can judge from my reaction, we thoroughly enjoy the convenience this system offers.Esmeralda wrote: As a quick side note, it looks like the Contemporary no longer has refillable mugs (at least during construction).

Mine is at my work desk in front of me. I'm also OK with the price increase. It saves us a lot of money over a 2 week holiday
It's a Pop Century one, I'll have to take care of it now that they have got rid of the resort specific ones.

1980, 2000, 2005 and 2008 all had plenty of magic. Hoping for a bit more in 2010.
My Corando Springs mug is also sitting on my desk here at work. It brings a touch of vacation to my day.rodders wrote:Mine is at my work desk in front of me. I'm also OK with the price increase. You can only refill them at your resort. I never carried mine around. I just used it when dining at the resort.bostoncg wrote:Call me crazy but I wouldn't want to carry the cup around with me all dayI don't even take my purse, just stuff I can fit in my pockets cause I hate having to hold onto something if I am on a ride. I save all shopping until the end of the day
Depends on how or what else I had... When I stayed at the Boardwalk/Beach Club Villas I would get me fill of coffee in the morning and take it with me. Rinse it out and dry it. I Would store it on either my fanny pack or in the stroller until we made a afternoon visit to the room. Believe it or not, if you clip it onto something, (camera bag) it is pretty much not noticed.

They definitely did not have them in December. They didn't have anywhere to fill them, either; the only counter service option they had during the construction was a (pathetic) grab n' go thing set up on the 4th floor. We ended up monorailing over to Captain Cook's instead.HSolo29 wrote:Oh no! I sure hope that's not the case. We recently booked our WDW for this year and we're staying at the Contemporary. I heard a rumor they won't be bringing the refillables back to the Contemporary, but I'm not sure I believe it as it seems strange to me that'd be the only hotel without them? I assume the rumor started as a result of them not being there at the moment, I dunno.
Anyway, fingers crossed they'll be in for your trip!
