I KNOW THIS POST IS 4 YEARS OLD, but still relevant. I really enjoyed Alien Encounter! It was a must do. And I have yet to go on the Stitch ride. So what does that tell ya?

Yeah, don't waste your time! I actually like Stitch as a character and the movies were cute for a while but this attraction is just a waste of space in my opinion. I would even be happier with Mission to Mars! That attraction was actually cool when I was a kid!

I'm not crazy about Stitch either, but I know a lot people love Stitch. On our last trip, a newbie in our group insisted that we see this. My girls  . This is what I hear --- "do we have to? I always throw up when I smelll that burp! I hate those water cannons. It takes too long" And so it goes. Of course, the newbie loved it!

Disney needs to stop thinking that every ride needs to be a kids-movie marketing tool. We are intelligent enough to enjoy rides that don't all revolve around a decent movie that Disney made. And, if they change any more rides to tie into friggen Finding Nemo...I swear...

I agree that Alien Encounter was great, but I did notice over the years that people complained it was too scary for the little ones. Personally, whenever I went, there was always a long line. I liked the Stitch ride and I liked how they kept most of it the same, expect for the scary monster. Can't say which one I liked more. They both have their appeal.
