Whats your favorite Disney resort?

Welcome to the forum. I would consider the Wilderness Lodge to be one of Disney's best resorts. The lodge has alot to offer for everyone. I like the Pacific Northwest theme.

I have not tried that one though the Animal Kingdom lodge was somewhat of a disapointment for what you pay for it.

If your a passholder watch for resort discount periods. You can save quite a bit money.

I do. I got Pop Century for $49.00 in March. That's usually how I pick when I go. I also go when Southwest has cheap airfare. Been know to get round trip for $78.00

You got that right. I use to get the two bedroom suites over at Old Key West but they doubles the prices on those.

When we comes we bring 9 or more people with us.

For $400.00 you too can be an AP. I think this is my last year. It wasn't bad when it was $250.00, but $400.00 is a little steep.

We go 4 times a year but I may start going out to DL. The airfare is about the same going to Florida or California.

I dont know about MYW, but it used to be an AP paid for itself after 7 or 8 visits. In 2004, I spent about 7 or 8 days in Disney parks. I wonder how it breaks down now with MYW.

I've only personally stayed at two resorts: the Contemporary (really fun for a first time staying on property) and Carribbean Beach (loved it!). My parents have stayed in the Wilderness Lodge because we were so impressed with it when we went to eat at the Whispering Canyon Cafe that my Dad said "When I come back, I'm staying here."

Next week I'm staying at Pop Century with jpsevil and I'm excited because I've heard such good things about it!

My all-time favorite resort that I've never stayed at is the Polynesian Resort. It has it all: close proximity to MK, a monorail, beautiful theming, and I've eaten at O'Hana twice and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Polynesian is about as close to heaven as I can recall. Just the main lobby is a pleasure to stroll around. And the beach at night with the water parade...spectacular.

But I have to admit, the Contemporary is really fun when staying in the tower. The ability to walk a few feet to shops and food is a treat. It's like it's own little city.

The Grand Floridian isn' bad either. It too is fun to go down to the dock and watch the water parade.

Hm . . . let's see . . . we've stayed at OKW, Boardwalk Villas, Carribean Beach, Pop Century, Coronado Springs and Wilderness Lodge. Can't say I have one favorite - each one has such phenominal themeing and they all have their own personal pluses.

*OKW - Love the quietness and huge rooms.
*Boardwalk Villas- Like everyone else - distance to MGM and Epcot plus
all the evening entertainment on the boardwalk.
*Carribean Beach - This is the only resort we hated.
*Pop Century - GREAT themeing and dedicated bus service. Food court is
excellent!
*Coronado Springs - Great staff, excellent pool and hot tub, beautiful
walking paths, and food court/type area has the wonderful meals!
*Wildnerness Lodge - You really feel like your not in Florida! The resort is
just BEAUTIFUL! Love the boat to MK.

Right now, though, my two favorites are Pop Century and the Boardwalk.

This summer we're staying at SSR, Beach Club Villas, and AKL. I may have a new favorite
