Well, for all you mulch smell lovers out there ~ free sniffs if you come to Michigan. I just spread a bazillion bags of Florida cypress mulch and right now we have the heat and humidity to rival Florida's!
I'm actually thinking for all we've spent on mulch we could have had an honest to goodness cypress tree or two instead

This may sound strange, but my favorite smell used to be the Beach Club luggage room....I know; weird. I'm not sure what it is, but there's just a nice scent that's always in there. There is a similar scent at the Grand Floridian due to one of the shops, but the perfume-like smell is overkill at times.

Another favorite scent of mine is the gardenias they have (had?) in the France Pavilion at Epcot.

And the blackest 'art wears the broadest smile."

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

I just discovered a new "Disney Smell"..and its a weird one, but the air conditioning that hits you when you are standing outside in the hot Florida heat getting ready to walk into one of the show buildings. I never noticed this "smell" until recently when I was walking outside of Test Track and it was about 99 degrees outside..and then all of a sudden this blast of cold fresh air hit me right in the face. It was a smell that I have smelled 1000 times before..but it was at that moment that I realized that this was a smell that I only get at Disney

I know I've posted this before, but it's been quite some time. In Disneyland, along the Big Thunder Trail between Frontierland and Fantasyland (mainly near the exit to BTMRR) there are some trees that smell so good. I'm not sure what kind of trees they are and I'm assuming it's the trees because there isn't much other foliage around.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Trust me when I say this: That air is not that fresh...

That doesn't surprise me at all....I think we'd all become germophobes if we truly knew how filthy the things around us really are! (But hey, I've got a great immune system because of it! :D )

Whenever we go to Blue Bayou to eat, we usually get "traditional" water to drink. For some reason, the water there tastes so much better than other places. We have a running joke that it's actually water from POTC and that it's the hats, glasses, coins, maps and other peraphernalia that's in the water that makes it taste so good!

ewwwwwwww......... :|

I always drink bottled water if I can possibly help it. Dasani, preferably....
I know, there's a whole gaggle of folks out there who will shout me down about how "it's no better than tap water...", yadda, yadda....
But I can definitely taste the difference. I don't even like some bottled waters because they taste like tap water!

Me too...there are some bottled waters that don't taste right. Just like some tap water tastes ok and others taste like medicine cabinets. :? eww. But for some reason, Blue Bayou has really good water!
