Did you know a CP named Ben who was in custodial at MGM? I know he was usually near Epic. He was my roommate.
Yeah, I worked with Ben at Icon. He had a pin I really really wanted. And on our last day working, a girl traded him for it.

Small world :)

Edit: I just read your previous post and are you still working there?

Yeah I wish US CP could live in the tree-houses. It seems like it would be a fun time. I would love to meet some of the International CP and if i were to party, party it up with them. Maybe I can learn a different language hanging with them? lol

And not even to just party with them but to become friends with someone from another country would be an experiecne on its own :)

Just as it is I'm sure it's very cool for them also to be in the United States to talk with us

I'm not still working, but I'm seasonal.

That's crazy! I've been talking to someone on a message board that worked with my roommate from 5 random months in Florida. I'm definitely going to have to tell him about this.

I had a bad experience with the Tree House, so I'm not in any hurry to get back there.

I was asked if I wanted to work seasonal, but I thought it was too much of a hassle to stay there for a week just to work. If they let me stay at one of the apts, then maybe.

Tell Ben I said 'hello' :)

My dad's a disnoid far beyond my own imagination, so he's more than willing to send me there every six months to keep up my status.

When do you think the interviews for the fall 07 CP will begin?

I'm going to say maybe this Spring. I have no idea when the presentation schedules are. Your best bet is to go to the college website or attend a presentation.

looks like you can apply/watch the presentation online now. They also have the presentation schedule up there, but it's just showing for the January 2007 group right now...

I know its in the Spring. I'm just sick of going back and forth to check if the new interview schedules are posted yet. It was just a silly question, I'm very impatient :)

Don't worry. Just enjoy the holidays, and then the next semester will start and you'll be too busy to think about it. Then the recruitments will begin again :)

The new presentations for the Fall 2007 Semester have been posted and GOOD NEWS! I don't have to travel to Connecitcut or view the online presentation anymore.

JOHNSON & WALES-PROVIDENCE RI 03/22/2007 8:00 am
Time and Location of CP Presentation to be determined.
Polly Balzano: 401/598-1443 J

JOHNSON & WALES-PROVIDENCE RI 03/22/2007 6:00 pm
Harberside campus "for culinary and pastry students only"
Douglas Stuchel 401/598-1420

Obviously I can't do the 6:00 PM presentation but I believe the first presentation at 8:00 am is for all other cast members. I will probably call Polly to confirm it. I'm excited that the dates are finally posted.

Now the next question I have, when should I flill out my application, Should I start filling it out now or no rush?

Another quick question, the presentation is on a thursday, and it's not during my spring break. It starts at 8, I have a class at 11 (at a different school mind you), is this presentation going to be 3 hours long?

I'd say there isn't a rush. Maybe take a look at one, and mentally go over it. I filled mine out like the weekend before. I was a bit nervous, but there is no reason to be.

The presentation shouldn't be too too long, but they do have to go over everything in a magical Disney way, which includes Q&A(with prizes) and presentations. Also, if they're setting up interviews and accepting applications, then it might take a while.

The presentation I went to didn't take too long, but the wait to set up an interview took forever...probably because I was one of the last in line with tons of people in front of me. Oh, and something wasn't working, I forget what.

You should be done in 2 hours. And dang, it's been a year already?

I had a phone interview. Although when I applied (but didn't go) in 2003, I did have a long wait.

I'm just so glad that I only have to travel 20 miles to Rhode Island's Capital (providence) then travel 100+ miles to CT's capital, Hartford. That is such a relief

Guess what? The presentation that was supposed to be for the non-culinary college program students has been cancelled because it is not appearing on their webpage anymore. It was the closest one to my house so I was excited when I saw that college listed.

So I guess I will view the E-Presentation, now Can I view the E-Presentaiton at any time then call the number for the interview 48 hours after the presentation? If so, then I probably will view the E-Presentation during my spring break so I will have plenty of time to find my comfort zone before the phone interview.

During phone interviews, Should I mail my application weeks in advance so whoever I talk too can view my application while I'm talking to them?

Also, is there anyone on here that has worked hospitality? I would like to hear some feedback and details on that job.

Thats all i have for now. I'm sure I'll have some more questions later on.
