Looks so awesome! Riders will definitely feel the barrels swinging through that s-section!!! We've been excited for this since the 2011 D23 Expo!

That looks really cool! I wonder what the height restriction will be. It looks pretty gentle...

I would guess that the height requirement will be 40 inches like Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

Being that the ride is going to be in fantasyland I do not think so because no other attraction in that area does and being that this ride is in fantasy land I hope it doesn't because that will disappoint some guests I am sure!Polynesian Princess wrote:I would guess that the height requirement will be 40 inches like Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain.

Yes the ride restriction will be 40". I too found that surprising, but as always.....safety first.
I'm stoked for this!

Isn't that about the height of a 4 year old? That doesn't seem all that restrictive to me.DaRkNeSs wrote:Wow I am surprised that wasn't very thought out! According to a quick search, it looks like 4-5 would be that height, I am kind of surprised Disney doesn't use the same tactic that some parks use for ticket prices where if you are shorter than a specific height your ticket costs less because you can't ride any of the thrill rides.

In Disney's defense they do have a lot of options for the under 5 crowd that many teens and adults don't bother with when they are not travelling with wee ones. As much as I love Peter Pan, if I can't score a FP there is no way I will wait in that hour + line. The princess hall and Belles story time is also a one and done for me.

It sounds like it will still be a kids coaster, similar to Casey Jr at DLRP. That and the concept sketches look like it is there to appeal to younger coaster riders.

I think you have the thoughts of Disney exactly there jderoche5! I can sort of understand the height tiered pricing at other parks that really only have the shows and the thrill rides, but Disney has so much more to offer.jderoche5 wrote:In Disney's defense they do have a lot of options for the under 5 crowd that many teens and adults don't bother with when they are not travelling with wee ones. Completely agree with you Amy Disney has so much to offer kids of all ages adjusting the price wouldn't be logical!Amy wrote:I think you have the thoughts of Disney exactly there jderoche5! The logical part isn't so much for the parks but rather to make the parent (or ticket buyer) feel that they aren't getting as screwed with the price. The reality is that the loss from the shorty/child ticket (which still isn't a loss) is rolled up into the adult ticket.

That makes it sound like the adult ticket price would go up ~ no thank you! That would stink for those of us who don't have children they are taking to the parksWizzard419 wrote:The logical part isn't so much for the parks but rather to make the parent (or ticket buyer) feel that they aren't getting as screwed with the price.
