yummm, deep fried coca-cola...
Ummm, I think I'd rather eat a donut while enjoying a cold coke instead

Maybe I should take Club Cool for my deserted island companion...
They had deep-fried coca-cola at the Indiana State Fair, either 2 or 3 years ago. They've also done deep-fried Twinkies and Snickers bars. Last year it was deep-fried Kool-aid. Oh, the coke was 3 years ago. 2 years ago was chocolate-covered bacon on a stick. Every year they introduce a new "signature fair food" (read: Guaranteed to annoy the snot out of your cardiologist and dietician). I LOOOVVEEE the State Fair (roasted corn on the cob! 'nuff said!) but deep-fried Koolaid was just taking it too far.
I have to admit, the Snickers bar sounds kind of good. But I haven't had one.

We have the deep fried food thing here in Calgary during the Stampede - deep fried jelly bellies, deep fried Oreos, and H.'s favourite, deep-fried Twinkies. There's also beer ice cream if you want a cold one to go with all that fried food.

Love it!

Deep fried stick of BUTTER??? Are you sure Paula Deen isn't credited with that one?

Gross!!!
The local reporter did a story on this last year when it was first introduced. Evidently it is more like a really moist donut hole as the butter mostly melts inside the batter as it fries. I don't personally know anyone that actually has tried them though...

My heavens look at the can of worms that opened.
Maybe we should get back on topic before we get our wrists slapped.

i agree with that... the ENTIRE WDW property, and a small nuclear reactor, a desal plant, and the Epcot greenhouses so i never have to forage for food or water, and keep the lights on, of course

I'll also have to go with the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House. It was made specifically for survival on an island like this...and I'll have plenty of polka music to keep myself entertained.

Yeah and then you'll want the boats from PotC or Small World to get you out of there.

Well...maybe the It's a Small World boat. I think the "Dead men tell no tales, tales, tales" would make me as batty as the polka music!

That might end up being a very crowded desert Isle! I know I would do my best to find it

I would still go for Timekeeper and his time machine - any place, any time - what more could anyone ask for?

There was so much to look at in the pre-show area! That really was a great attraction

Stupid spinning carousel of progress that they changed Timekeeper to Monsters Inc

It's "out with the unpopular old, and in with the popular new", Amy...
