Disney World pulls plug on Grad Nite

I remember it was very crowded when I went to WDW long ago. And I do remember that many of the buses there were out of state.

Hmmm... that's actually not terribly far away, only about an hour. I wonder if Disneyland offered discounts as an encouragement to local schools to not come during grad night itself (since it sounds like it was crowded every year)

That sounds like a plausible explanation. Better to have the parks full during a slow week-day at a discount and then pack more kids in on grad nite.

I think I am the only person on the planet who never got to attend grad night I didn't even know that it existed at WDW. I thought it was only at DL until a few years back when I heard it was at WDW too

Add me, Amy. At least officially. On our first trip with Emilie, we splurged for a lagoon view at the Poly. It was during grad nights and I still remember waking up at 2 am to the colours of fireworks exploding in our room. Great memory. I'm sad they're gone.
