The odds are in your favor; the trains move faster than the boat, so you have the chance to catch 1 or 2 maybe before the boat passes the attraction altogether...Len90 wrote:That is a nice angle theBIGyowski! I definitely will have to try that out next time I go. I would think there needs to be a lot of good timing for you to catch the train at the right spot. You are playing with the timing of the boat and the timing of the train.

Yeah...I was hoping that the timing would work out to get that picture...and thankfully it did. My favorite "timing" photo to take is Splash Mountain as the log is coming down into the brier patch. Even better if you can get the water shooting up. Nice thing about that one is it happens so often that you are bound to get a good picture eventually.

The only place we HAVE to get a photo is the place that I have on my avatar photo. It's right outside of the Crystal Palace facing the castle. We like to have the kids staring at the castle and get a shot from behind them. It used to be easier when they had benches right out front. Now they are gone so we just do it against the fence.

In a few years you might not be able to see the castle over the kids' heads!NaCler wrote:The only place we HAVE to get a photo is the place that I have on my avatar photo. we do this one too, always a nice shot, and (as an added bonus) this angle blocks out the crawler crane as well. worth doing if anyone is going in the near future.NaCler wrote:The only place we HAVE to get a photo is the place that I have on my avatar photo. You are definitely not alone on that one. I always joke that one year the dial will stop turning or it will just turn back to the 1960'sboilerbabe wrote:I'm glad I'm not the only one that didn't notice that!

You're not far off Len, I think they ran out of "turning" ability with the sign b/c on our last trip, I noticed the 2010 was pasted on there!Len90 wrote:You are definitely not alone on that one.
