How Green is Disney? Green enough to be able to say hey we're a GREEN company, But NOT green enough to make a difference!!

I think they're still at the point of just dabbling their toes in the "green" water. They're slowly adding in green thinking and methods a little at a time so people get used to it and start supporting it.

But in reality, I really do think that it's going slowly for economic reasons, as others have alluded to in earlier posts. They don't want to spend a whole bunch of money on it all at once unless it really catches on and becomes a much bigger issue than it already is. If there was a bigger outcry for that stuff, they would jump all over it. Meanwhile they continue to focus more on things that make a profit, as any smart company should do, really.

Disney/Reedy Creek Utilities was one of the first in the state of Florida to use Reclaimed Water for irrigation.

That is a great answer. Disney does have a lot of grass and the parks are pretty well planted with Trees. After all, Animal Kingdom has nearly 100 species of plants and tree that are foreign to North America.
