That's awesome MadEye! How long did it take you to learn that spiel? And how do they decide when they turn the fire on in the robery scene, or do they just not do that anymore?!

My vote would be to leave it alone. I view it as a tribute to the classics, an era that is fading away. B&W movies from some of films greatest stars should be preserved and featured.

Took me 3 days to learn all 50 pages of the tour guide speil (you learn gangster and bandit in one day each). The fire is only done if there is a bandit show. The button to start it is to the right of Snake (bank robber animatronic), your left when facing the bank.

Awesome, so you were there when my sisters worked there. Did you know Angie or Becky?

I guess I have never ridden that ride in the front car during a peak season because I never knew there was a bandit that took over your car. I've only seen the gangster. That's cool though.

Don't remember an Angie. What is Becky's last name?

You can always ask if they are running the bandit show. If they are and if you don't mind waiting a bit longer if you have to, you'll get to see it. If not, you can always try again.

It is only 50 pages because it includes all the speils (gangster and bandit) and it is printed in a larger than normal font size. The only time I was worried about messing up was my first live show (first with guests ever). Messed up once at Footlight Parade (stuttered Busby Berkeley's name...) and after that it was smooth sailing. After a while I just got to thinking that I'm human and most of the guests won't be paying attention anyway.

Dodd, she was there from mid '06 to early '08. Did tour guide and Gangster, my other sister did Bandit and tour guide.

Interesting to see Madeye that you could have been my tour guide when I was there in 2006. I know we usually try to sit in front since sometimes you can get to interact with the CM.

The Great Movie Ride definitely needs an update. There are so many movies that they can add to make it more interesting. On the other hand, I don't think they should eliminate any of the scenes. I still enjoy going on the current ride even though I know it cold.

I remember her, and she is one of very few I miss from GMR.

Could very well have been. We may never know.

Yes, it was more fun with Becky than Angie. Angie is a little uptight. I remember once, she hit the doors between two of the rooms (I don't remember which - the doors failed to open) and e-stopped. The next time I went, I wore a bicycle helmet on her show. She did very well at keeping in character, but the bandit didn't. He couldn't look at me, because he would start to chuckle.

Then there was the time someone was working gangster for the first time and I yelled out in the middle of the show, "that's my sister, you better not hurt her or I swear I'll hunt you and your gang down." That time the gangster did better to keep in character. I miss her working at the parks, it was so much fun.

Of course, I have heard stories of some of the things that go on behind scenes and my little escapades pale in comparison.
