I personally can't think of the parks in the way that some people do especially when they say things like "this park is just a half day" or "we can DO that park in 1 day". I don't wish to "do" parks at all, I like to enjoy them. I think the classic example is how so many people "do" AK in a few hours. IMO they haven't done the park at all, they have ran around the park hitting the major attractions whilst choosing to ignore most of the theming and details. Each to his/her own and they are perfectly entitled to visit the parks in whatever manner they choose, it's just that I don't wish to visit the parks in that way.
Well said rodders. Won't be long now right!

I see no fluff.

Disney had just provided me with lots of stuff to do or see (or ignore) as I see fit.

I wouldn't want it any other way.

Everything, in theory, furthers the entertainment and enjoyment of the parks. I want to see the attractions, but I also want to exeperience the "fluff." This past trip, I made sure our group saw Cap'n Jack and my youngest DD was picked for the pirate tutorial. Sure, PoC was great, but her interaction with Jack was priceless. It was a highlight of her trip and a memory we will all cherish. I think that's what Disney is about.

Call it fluff, but I call it the Disney experience.
Agreed!
