Other than the rude people who think they're the center of the universe and the ones who can't seem to control thier kids, what drove me crazy last week more than anything was the bus transportation. I know it's "free" and that they're cutting back because of gas prices or whatever, but the efficiency and travel time boardered on rediculous. We stayed at the Boardwalk and everywhere we went, we were the first to get picked up and the last to get dropped off. Example: on our way back from AK, we waited for about 30 minutes for a bus and after we got picked up, we went to BB, the Swan, the Dolphin, the Yacht Club, Beach Club, and finally the Boardwalk. The entire ordeal took us about an hour and I'm glad now that we decided to leave AK a little earlier than we had planned, or else we would have been late for La Nouba. These high gas prices are really taking the fun out of everything...

Figment

I am still upset over Disney removing the old "Journey into Imagination" ride. The first replacement was horrible, I remember taking my son on that as his first ride and he was scared out of his mind when the huge train light, the wind and the blaring horn were appearing to come right at us. The second ride, which is the current ride is also horrible. Bring back the original Journey into Imagination with Figment Ride.

OOOO!!!! Those people that stop in the middle of the aisle....they get me mad like nothing else. I'm always sure to "accidentally" trip over them as I snake my way past them.

Guests who think they are entitled to having it their way because they paid lots of money for their vacation.

It's a shame that guest services are not held to same standards as the rest of the cast members. :mickey3:

Let me add something: When guests tell cast members how to do their jobs.

When people let their kids run wild and abuse CMs. We were at a Star Wars weekend at MGM and these parents let their son (couldn't have been more then 8) hit one of the CMs in costume. I finally told the kid to stop and ask the parents to "PUT HIM ON A LEASH!"
It seem some people just think were paying for it, so anything is OK! No it's not, you still have to live by the GOLDEN RULE!

Not this last trip, but one last year Disney must have geared some package deals to tour groups, you know the ones where the group leader holds a flag for everyone to follow. Just the fact that there are 100 people trying to stick together is bad enough to get around but when they give all their passes to 4 or 5 people and they bombard Fastpass Distribution centers and run 100+ tickets off....DRIVES ME NUTS!!!

Drive me crazy? FastPass. Pain in the rear. Legalized line jumping. Yet I'm the guy with the collection of FastPasses sitting in his closet. I guess I think they won't last much longer, so these will be worth something someday.

Fast pass is here to stay! I did hear a rumor the Disney wants to just stamp your pass instead of giving you a piece of paper.

People who rent out wheelchairs or elec. carts and then act like they are the only ones at the Parks. Worse yet, they try to use it to cut to the front of the line. It's laziness to it's greatest level.

I LOVE the Pixar movies, don't get me wrong, but it bugs me that they are infilrating the parks so thoroughly. I'd be shocked if a new ride is announced and some computer-animated character isn't at the helm somewhere. Maybe that's the way to get Peoplemover back open at Disneyland -- have Wall-E pulling them around!

I know you are being sarcastic, but that's a good idea. It's better than having this empty track above your head everywhere.

Smokers

Post by earningmyfins » Jul Thu 10, 2008 10:53 pm

Not to sound rude or anything to people who smoke but Disney has banned smoking freely and has given those who smoke a certain area for it. It sickens me to see people walking around, holding their kids hand, and having a cig in their mouth. There are other children around who might get sick from the smoke.

I get so ticked off when I see and I usually notify a Cast member. :x
