I haven't had a chance to dine at the top two currently reigning countries (Canada and Japan), so I voted for Mexico just because 1) I LOVE the ambiance and lighting of eating inside the ziggurat and 2) while I know you can eat Mexican just any ol' where in America, there was one dish I had in the San Angel Inn that was, by far, the BEST Mexican dish I ever had. I had to look it up, but this is what it was:

Pollo a las Rajas - Grilled chicken breast served over red peppers, onions, chile poblano, chorizo and melted cheese

I don't even like pepper, but MAN, I was nearly swallowing them whole, it was all so delicious.

Japan is making a sweet comeback from the Canucks earlier drubbing! Go Land of the Rising Sun! Last year i ate at Mexico and was totally surprised! the food was good and getting a reservation was very easy!....make this a back up place if you need!

A few years ago, Norway had the best meal - a unique cold buffet and hot table service - that was underpriced compared to anything else on property in a great castle like setting. Then the princesses took over and the prices doubled. We haven't tried it since then even though my wife is a princess!

I like the Rose and Crown in U.K. (great Lady Grey ice tea) outside on the lake shore but my wife thinks the outside counter Fish and Chips is a better deal (about $7 if I remember correctly) and that makes them taste better!

Canada is our favorite followed by Mexico. Hopefully we will visit Japan in the future.

The food in Mexico, is the best Mexican food I ever had. I also can't wait to taste the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, I heard from so many that it's awesome, I hope they still have it this year. :o

What are the reviews of the Tutto Italia restaurant in Italy? My wife and I used to like Alfredo's.

wow...morocco didn't rate very high, but they have a nice vegetarian selection, and the tangerine cafe and a delish sampler.

This is an unfair question as each is so good in their own way... Though, America - I guess it reflects us well since it is quick serve only with no restaurant.

I love meat, so Canada for me.
