Where would this new area be?
Well, for starters I would consider eliminating the "DinoLand" area and replacing it with anything. The AK is our favorite park, and the DinoLand area is our least favorite area.

From what we've been told (Travel channel shows, this message forum, other websites), there is supposedly a very large area that is availalbe. A portion of that area is where Camp Minnie-Mickey is located. Rumor has it that the area was to be used for the Beastly Kingdom during the original planning for the AK.

There is more than enough room for pretty much anything Disney wants to invest the time and money in. I don't really have a problem with DinoLand as it seems to be a nice little spot for the small children and I like the store in there. I agree it's probably not the best use of the space but if you look at that area it really is a very small portion of the park compared to the place as a whole. I would say AK is my 3rd favorite park just behind MK and Epcot but being the newest of the four parks I'm sure there is much more in store for it in the coming years.

AK has improved since their initial opening, but they certainly could use a little something more...that being said, I haven't heard any rumors about them expanding at this point in time.

Someone mentioned a rain forest earlier. As I think about it, this might be a good idea. There are more different kinds of animals in the rain forest than anyone could possibly collect. There are mountains, waterfalls, jungle...plenty of scenery. And the western hemisphere is not represented in AK at this point. The way of life in the amazon is also different to both Asia and Africa and could be educational as well. The importance of the rain forest could be presented in a very entertaining way. Nobody's better at that than Disney.

That would be great. But hollywood studios needs the most help.

I agree but unfortunately, being the smallest of the four parks I think they might have painted themselves into a corner here. It might be really difficult to expand this park much without encroaching onto other Disney property which has since surrounded it.
