I'm really not sure what to think. I keep seeing conflicting evidence.

We just booked our September trip today and as a bonus, they handed us the 2008 edition of Birnbaum's guide. Inside, it has a section for the WoL pavilion and it even highlights all of the attractions inside(Making of Me, Cranium Command, Body Wars). It does, however, say that it's hardly ever open and to only expect it to be open during holidays and other special events where the crowds are higher.

So yea, I have no clue what's up.

I found this on MousePlanet...
…For the sixth year in a row, Aquascape, Inc. will create water gardens of the future as part of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. This year Aquascape and its subcontractors will construct six water features. Displays will include a rainwater harvesting system, an 11' x 16' ecosystem pond, decorative fountains, and an indoor feature located in the Garden Festival Center at the Wonders of Life pavilion. The planned water displays are aligned with Disney's mission of sustainability and environmentally friendly initiatives.
I guess WoL will again be "opened seasonally" for the flower and garden festival, if anyone wants to visit the empty pavilion.

Huh. It sounds like they're making it into a festival center, considering it was last open for food and wine, and then not for the 'proper' attractions but just as a convenient spot to house things. That's ... reminiscent of what they did to the Millennium Pavilion, I guess. Disappointing but not surprising.

It is for now being used as a convention center, or at least it was an option to us for our reception. We looked at this "clown" room which my wife LOVED, but was far too loud!!
I also saw people setting up in there for an event last week (plates, tables) so I guess it is still available. But it looks like everthing is still there, even though I get conflicting reports from cast members still on it's status.
and the number one hardest thing to find in Walt Disney World is.....5 consecutive smiling children!!
"excuse me, that is NOT a designated smoking area, now would you PLEASE kindly take your fat white trash hiney OUT of MY park!! Thank you!!"

Its basically being used as an event space as of right now. The Sign is down, and being replaced with festival signs, etc. As far as I know, Body Wars, Cranium, and MoM are all still intact, however they may not see the light of day again due to cost of operation and staffing alone. The doors are closed and festival setups are put in front of them.

Even then, I wouldn't doubt that some of the materials and such from Body Wars have been ported over to Hollywood Studios for Star Tours' Use.

that's really kind of sad. I remember when the wonders of life pavillion was busy with people and there was so much to see and do. I loved CC, it was hilarious, but unfortunately I didn't get to see the Making of me.

Thanks for the Pic. of the new Pavilion insides . It's pretty hard to imagine the way it was is gone. Now its only open for special events. and it nice to see that they are finally doing something with that space, and its not such a bad idea, the park really could use this convention area. I will miss the CC attraction, the rest of the building was not really that entertianing. the giant DNA sculpture was cool, is that still there? Just think CC and Timekeeper plus countless other awesome things sit somewhere in a dusty warehouse. I do know that they send a lot of these things to other parks overseas. Like the Mickey's Mouse revue is now in Japan. Maybe CC will someday go some place else :( .
