So, kgmadorin, do tell - how'd you pop the question?

So, "rdeacon", how'd you pop the question? I always wondered what kind of set up - (location for proposal) men would pick. Us women are such romantics, ya know.

I'd love it if my girlfriend/fiance (when I find the right one) would agree to do the wedding at WDW. I hear it's a great experience. We'd probably end up doing the Disney cruise for the honeymoon just to top it off.

As far as proposals go, I'd probably do it either just before or just after her favorite ride, or as we sit down on a bench to take a rest. I've also tough about it at dinner at one of the park restaurants or at the Fort Wilderness campfire... :D

"js3901" - Seems like you have thought this through. Whenever you find the "right one" she'll be very lucky! Every girl (most atleast) dream of getting married @ Walt Disney World. :D I know I wish I'd gotten married there.

when it comes to WDW, I think EVERYTHING through. Hell, my next trip is planned for late 2006 (December) and I have every little detail worked out already. In fact, I've had it all planned for the last 2 years. This all includes hotel, tickets, airfare, transportation, meals... you name it, it's been factored in.

I'm not even old enough to get married, and I've already thought about proposing, getting married, and having my honeymoon at Walt Disney World. To whom, I have no idea yet, but she better like Walt Disney World as much as I do.

Wow, you really do love WDW - my kids/husband thought I was obsessed. It's good to see I'm not the only one!

"Siriuslydead" - That's so cool. Have you been going to Disney for a long time? My husband thought WDW was cool, then we became DVC members, and he liked it a little bit more. Now, 5 years later, his goal is to stay at every WDW resort! I do believe he's become a convert!. :D

Hehe, yes, I think it's cool, too, but maybe kind of obsessive also, mostly because of my age? I'm not really sure lol. I have been going to Disney for a long time. My first trip was when I was fourteen months old, and I have been going ever since. I would watch Disney movies everyday when I was younger. The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin were my favorites because they were brand new at the time. My Disney obsession has grown with me for the past years, and it's getting worse and worse. When I grow up I want to be a director, and I have my own video camera, editor, and dvd burner. For my last trip in November 2004, I brought my video camera and taped absolutely everything. I am making it into a movie and I'm going to put it onto dvd, but I'm still not finished! I'm trying to get it done this week, actually. I can see myself in the future, trying to stay at every resort and trying to do every single thing. My best friend Heather and I, who have gone to Disney twice together (the girl with my in my avatar) with her family, have already looked into the Disney College Program, where you can work at Disney for some semesters and earn credits while you are there. Okay, I have to stop myself now, heh. :D

"Siriuslydead" - Did you every think about working for Disney - it sounds like you'd make a good CM.

I have thought about working for Disney, and I'm extremely interested in it. I would love to be a CM. I would wake up every morning happy. I think doing it would be one of the best things to do in my life. And Heather would do it with me too, so I'd have my best friend with me also.

My wife's first trip to WDW was on our honeymoon at the Grand Floridian - can you believe her parents denied her growing up?!  Our biggest problem we now have is agreeing on which resort to stay at - I'm an AKL kinda guy and she always fights for WL!

Your honeymoon at the Grand Floridian must have been amazing. What was it like?

I can't wait until I'm older and I can plan my own trips with my family and friends, because then I can pick which resort I want to go to. I wish to try and stay at every resort at least once.

Amazing is understating it! :D We've been making the tour of the resorts ever since and have yet to get back there to stay again but we hope to bring our kids there in a couple of years.

Wow. I have been in the Grand Floridian, but I have never stayed there. I know the resort is great, but staying there for your honeymoon must have been magical. That would be a nice trip to go there again, and with your kids too.
