Main Street Bakery in MK! Gosh, that is just an awesome smell. I love the fireplace in WL also.

I will NEVER forget getting stuck behind one on my honeymoon w/ my wife at AK. Believe me...I could only hope that the sent was coming from one of the local animals. That being said...my favorite smell is the Wilderness Lodge lobby. :mickey:
My mother used to carry around baby powder and sprinkle it on them. I kid you not. I was so embarrassed while at the same time couldn't help but laugh. :)

Also, the oranges in Horizons were called l'oranges. I really don't know why though. Maybe they were futuristic.
I Agree about the fireworks........ :)

l'oranges is french for "The Oranges" (just an FYI) ;)

Alright it's kind of on topic, but why does everyone eat those turkey legs? Is it a southern thing?

I'm not certain of whether or not it's a southern thing, but don't they also offer the smoked turkey legs at Disneyland ? I could be wrong but I thought that was the case. In any event, I love them !!!! :D

I'm going to have to try them then. When I used to go with my folks they kind of made fun of them so I never tried them. I'll give them a go.

As far as memory serves, the turkey legs are a WDW phenomenon, and not available in Anaheim... and I gotta tell you, maybe it is a southern or eastern thing... most Californians I know (including yours truly) find the bigass turkey legs to be stomach-turning at best

You can get turkey legs at both WDW and Disneyland. I've seen more people eat turkey legs at WDW more so than Disneyland. I think it's because there are more places to buy them in WDW. I talked to one family who were munching on turkey legs while waiting for a parade and they said it was a family tradition to get one each visit to WDW.

Wow, I don't think I've seen them at Disneyland. Where do they sell them? Frontierland?

Yeah. If I remember correctly, there's a stand on the Frontierland side of Rivers of America.

What a great topic, as I am often taken back to childhood memories at WDW, by very specific smells.....Top of list for me needs to be the Musty PoC smell, as you walk down through the queue......I also find the HM Mustiness to be pretty cool........Turkey Legs, Fish & Chips at World Showcase, the Monorail Air Conditioning......So many smells, tied to so many memories......Good thing I am headed down to WDW soon.
