My mother used to carry around baby powder and sprinkle it on them. I kid you not. I was so embarrassed while at the same time couldn't help but laugh.bamafan19 wrote:I personally think Disney needs to Market "Disney Deodorant" for the not-so pleasant smell of some of the foreign tourists. I will NEVER forget getting stuck behind one on my honeymoon w/ my wife at AK. Believe me...I could only hope that the sent was coming from one of the local animals. That being said...my favorite smell is the Wilderness Lodge lobby.

I Agree about the fireworks........horizons1 wrote:I do like the air after fireworks. Spent firework shells smell sooo good.
Also, the oranges in Horizons were called l'oranges. I really don't know why though. Maybe they were futuristic.

l'oranges is french for "The Oranges" (just an FYI)

Alright it's kind of on topic, but why does everyone eat those turkey legs? Is it a southern thing?knedeau wrote:STEVE'S A VEGAN! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm not certain of whether or not it's a southern thing, but don't they also offer the smoked turkey legs at Disneyland ? I could be wrong but I thought that was the case. In any event, I love them !!!!GoofyInOhio wrote:Alright it's kind of on topic, but why does everyone eat those turkey legs? Is it a southern thing?knedeau wrote:STEVE'S A VEGAN! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! You can get turkey legs at both WDW and Disneyland. I've seen more people eat turkey legs at WDW more so than Disneyland. I think it's because there are more places to buy them in WDW. I talked to one family who were munching on turkey legs while waiting for a parade and they said it was a family tradition to get one each visit to WDW.

Yeah. If I remember correctly, there's a stand on the Frontierland side of Rivers of America.spaulo wrote:Wow, I don't think I've seen them at Disneyland. Where do they sell them? Frontierland?

What a great topic, as I am often taken back to childhood memories at WDW, by very specific smells.....Top of list for me needs to be the Musty PoC smell, as you walk down through the queue......I also find the HM Mustiness to be pretty cool........Turkey Legs, Fish & Chips at World Showcase, the Monorail Air Conditioning......So many smells, tied to so many memories......Good thing I am headed down to WDW soon.
