August is hot but with school and schedules we're a bit limited right now on when we can travel. It's really not as amazon as people portray it - if you go int he summer just be smart about what you wear, drink lots of fluids and be cognizant of what your body can take. Oh yeah - stay at the YC/BC so you can spend most of the hottest part of the afternoon at Stormalong Bay.
We'll go again right before Christmas, too, though when it is much cooler.

We live in Florida, so we have the opportunity to go a few times a year. Most often we stay at Wilderness Lodge, but occasionally try a new resort. My husband and I often go for a weekend sans parks. Really a great getaway with the amenities onsite, such as watching fireworks from the Polynesian beach or using watersports equipment at the resorts.

Thanks for the advice AKLRULZ about the August weather. I'm also going in August, but I didn't make the decision. My parents bought this trip for my 21st Birthday/Christmas present from last year so I can't complain. I will defnitely always have a water bottle at my side, and I plan to wear a white or gray shirt every day. I have also bought a hat (its black) but It's better than nothing especially considering I have a shaved head.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha
Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.

I did the math yesterday and I have been to WDW 12 times and DL 3 times in my lifetime.
