Our dream resort would be AK....we ate at boma, and dh fell in love with the thought of staying in a savanna room view! So, I can dream..........

deluxes are amazing. but since i spend most of my time in the parks i usually choose mod or values.

Don't forget if you are an out doors type - that Fort Wilderness is really cool. If your are on a budget you can even bring your own tent! Did that once in the early 90s and you get all the same amenties as a hotel guest, like Boat transportation. They also have hookups for RVs and cabins for rent.

Every night they show a Disney film on the large outdoor screen and you can even roast marshmellows at the nightly camp fire. This is my kind of camping!

we did this last December (2006). We didn't do the movie/marshmallow/campfire thing. But, we did the tent camping. it was nice, we were right next to both a comfort station as well as a bus stop (for the internal resort line - purple line). it was really nice, and great budget wise. You get to keep your "room" and use it elsewhere. Though I may have spent upwards of $400 or so just on the camping gear, plus the $700+ for the site rental/tickets, I still paid less then a value room for the same time frame in the long run.
