When you ask your friend if he knows what EPCOT stands for, he doesn't and you in turn flip out cuz you thought everyone knew what it meant.

I have two children under 4. Nothing takes what Google says it will. We'd be looking at about 3-4 days of driving each way... we'd get there and I'd have to turn around so I don't run out of vacation time!

I'm still trying to figure out a way to get down there in the spring lull, but $$$ is the problem. (As in, I'm not made of it and it doesn't grow on trees!)
Hoping to go back to the Magic soon.

When you get a new radio for you car that is iPhone/iPod/iWhatever ready and you just have to laugh when you plug in said iPod and the first thing it randomly plays is Star Tunnel.

We have four children, two of which at our WDW trip last year were 1 and 3. We drove from Virginia. I think our predicted travel time was 12 hours and we ended up estimating over that too. With stops and eating and such it ended up being like 15 hours to get there. I hope you can get back down there. We want to go back again too in spring time. We used to fly which was so nice getting there so fast. We drove this last time since there are six of us now and it was so much for flight when we could drive and it would be so much cheaper even though it takes sooooo much longer.

When you spend your entire day cleaning and then taking pictures of your basement monorail setup. It starts at image 31 in the album and I do apologize for the poor quality as the pictures were just taken with my iPhone.

WDW Active: Red, Black, Yellow, Gold, Blue, Green, Orange, Silver, Lime, Teal
DLR Active: Red
Other: Old Blue from Disneyland and WDW Purple.
Extras: Contemporary, Spaceship Earth, TTC, Golden Gate Bridge, and Hyperion Bridge.

I have no idea how much track is used, but it is a lot.

It's quite an impressive setup! How long have you been collecting the monorails?

Probably since about 1999/2000 when they started making them.

When you realize that most of the hangers in your closet are from the Disney (and more recently, Universal) costuming departments.
