I did notice one of my piano families' Dad was wearing one of those this week, but he was across the room so I couldn't see what watch face he had selected at the time. I'm sure it was just a plain clock face though...I sort of like my sports watches though so I'm not sure I would feel very comfortable wearing an ipod nano. I know it would have the music and everything, but it just seems like it would be too expensive to put it through what it might encounter in my day  I have seen the different digital faces though ~ the Muppets are actually cuter than the Mickey and Minnie ones in my opinion :D
I honestly wore it one day and realized it would not be the smartest thing for me. I always wear a watch, in fact every day I wear one of the watches I bought at WDW. The ones I have bought really are standing up well to the wear and abuse I give a watch. I found myself worried about the nano being that it is a little bulkier on the wrist. Secondly, I was really concerned about getting it wet even just washing my hands. I like to have the comfort of knowing my watch is somewhat water resistant. For now it will serve its main purpose as my disney music and other music playing device!

Actually, I did this when I was taking French in H.S. When we went to Disneyland, I made sure to get a park map in French so I could try and translate it as best as possible.
(I still did horribly though... :? )

You know you're a Disney nut when you have an oversized Mickey watch that is a wall clock, constantly set to 7:55. (hint: think in military time and assume PM)

That is great.. I actually did that for a friend of mine.. She lives/goes to school in Scotland.. so I went and got a bunch of maps for her.. but I got them in Japanese (knowing that she knows a little Japanese but she would have to translate it for herself)

we are so bad!
Getting Disney maps in various languages for a student who is studying that language, or even better, for a foreign language teacher, is a great idea. When we were in Disney in 2010 my daughter, then a first-year French student, asked for a menu from Chefs de Paris and got French park maps for her French teacher. My other daughter, who was studying Japan in her class, got a bunch of stuff in Japanese, and we bought a book about Japan and asked one of the Japanese nationals to please write the name of her school in the inside front cover. The teacher in me just can't help but see all the potential of having these fun things in a classroom. :)

For those like me who hate to do the math that would be 19:55. I wonder why that particular minute was chosen :D

I just had a lady approach me as we were both loading groceries into our cars at the same time. She said,"Wow! I didn't think anyone else was as big a Disney fan as us." As she was admiring our Mickey tail hitch, Disney license plate holder, & Disney decals on the window. :mickey:

When you have a favorite tree on WDW property. I don't know and probably never will, if this tree was there before Walt himself bought the land or if the Walt Disney Company planted it themselves after construction of Vista Blvd. Either way, it grew funny.

i doubt that pine is more than 10 years old... as for the shape, at my boy scout camp i worked at looooong time ago, we had fun twisting a pair of pine saplings together and securing it with bailing wire... the grew up wrapped together at the base and spread back out up high. so it might have been a little sapling run over by the mowers and it healed and then turned back upright...

It sure is the most interesting looking tree on property. Having lived so close to and using the roads of WDW as much as I have, it is the only one I've seen like that at least where drivers/guests view.

That's really cool to see that tree! Thanks for the pics. It's so neat when you see something grow differently like that.

You have an app folder on your iPhone labeled "Disney" with only Disney-related apps, including Subsonic Radio, and you make the day better by playing Subsonic, not matter where you are. and Cindrella Castle at night is your phones background.
