We had soft openings today RIGHT after we finished our training. Talk about a little nervous at first but I calmed down and was able to be inside for the 6th or 7th show and it was AMAZING! I never felt so proud to be a part of an attraction before. Yes I loved working for Pirates and that was a dream come true but the Tiki Room is truly a Walt Disney Classic. I smiled, cried and laughed when I first saw the show (without guests) and smiled even more once I introduced it to live guests for the first time. VERY excited for the grand re-opening tomorrow.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

It looks like the same show as DLR. If it wasn't such a long time in between I would swear it was a coke vs. new coke ploy where the goal was to use "bad new hotness" to trick you into wanting "old and busted".

It's the same as the DLR one besides a few short edits so i think it's about a minute shorter than the DLR one.

The clarity of the audio in that video clip sounds amazing! Looks like they did a great job restoring the original!

Without even seeing it, I find myself content about the opening knowing that at least Iago and Zazu are gone and the original tropical serenade has returned...
