And the verdict on the Dole Whip is?!?!?
Do tell! Amy is eagerly anticipating her first one as well!
We'll let her have the first one straight up in December, but we're spiking her second one with rum!

There are so many things we have not done. That's the great thing about Disney-every trip can be different. We went during Halloween and during Spring. Next, we're going at Christmas and someday during Star Wars weekend. We've never ate at the same restaurant twice (Except Sci-Fi Drive In). We're looking forward to every trip being different.

Maybe have the first half straight up, and then spike the second half?

We've never seen Disney at Halloween, so we're looking forward to seeing Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween and trick-or-treating in the Magic Kingdom.

Have you done the Candelight Processional at EPCOT? I know special dinner packages are available that give reserved up-front seating as well dinner at certain World Showcase restaurants. They go on sale in August, so call 1-800-WDW-DINE to get more details. They also have regular seating that's first-come-first-serve, but depending upon the night and celebrity guest speaker, you may have to line up early. The show is about an hour long.

I am wondering about whether dinner package would be worth it...I know one year we had preferred seating through either an American Express or Chase Disney card and it was nice not having to stand in a long line...

Verdict on the Dole Whip: Very good! I had the vanilla/pineapple swirl.
I really don't eat ice cream, but this is something I would have again. Although, it is so big, next time I will make sure I have someone to share it with.

Candle Light Processional was great! We did the dinner package with the Garden Grill last Christmas. You definately get better seats and less wait time. Although, since its mostly music and the single narrator, I didn't see a real advantage to sitting up front and center rather than off to the left somewhere (depending on who the narrator is for that evening). The real advantage was not having to stand in the line hoping to get a seat. The year before we stood line for about a half hour and were literally the next to last people to get in. I felt bad for the groups behind us.

I'm SURE you could get a few people on here that would be willing to share one with you. Those things are pretty darn good.

We're bringing a stoller, so maybe I'll have room underneath!

Honestly, I could not even imagine the thought of swirling vanilla ice cream with the lusciousness of a smooth pineappley Dole Whip!!!
But that's just me...Amy, I'm sure once you've had one you'll be willing to have another!

If not, I'm sure Mom would be willing to help you!

(or a load of other MM's

)
