"No, they don’t need a park map."

I can't remember the last time I actually looked at a park map - not only for WDW, but for DLR as well!

That is a funny article. The trip planning section was extremely truthful. I go to great pains to make sure the vacation will be absolutely perfect.

Has anyone on here just ever go without planning and winging it all the way? Well, besides me?

The last time we "winged" it was in '05 for the 1/2 marathon. Ever since then we've always had a POA!

We usually wing it in the parks but the idea of where we will be is set in stone with the ADRs, which are worked around the evening EMH. I honestly think that if were to just wing it we would not accomplish even half of what we want to do.

We never planned anything until last trip and even then it was only two ADR'S, I hate having to be somewhere at a certain time, I'm on holiday I want to just go with the flow and enjoy myself.
Of course a Mayhem Marauders meet up would be an exception to the rule. :D

We don't do too much advance planning after booking the hotel. I take a peek at the calendar for EMH in the mornings and evenings and aim for hitting those parks. I also look at the fireworks schedule but all these things seem to change just a bit so I really just look at the schedules the hotel has printed and go from there once we arrive.

I always over-plan the entire trip. This enables us to pick and choose what we want to do when we get to the parks. If we have a plan, it's easier to decide what you want to do, rather than waste time figuring it out from nothing.

On our last trip (9 days) we planned the first 4-5 days in detail...and let the last ones be wide open...other than ADRs.

I agree with Amy, that cartoon is funny and sad at the same time! I got a chuckle out of it though!
