You know you are a disney nut when you get a written reprimand from your IT dept at work for sucking up too much bandwidth on the company network listening to SSR @ the 96K bandwidth for an entire day. Then you have to explain to your supervisor what streaming music is..... " no not screaming.. streaming... stream... like a river.....oh

"
So now no more SSR at work.

When your basement looks like this:
and we have a train to put up and Space Mountain is coming for Christmas!

Can't you just use one of the lower bandwith streams?

It depends - some companies like mine are totally against any bandwith streams. It has been a problem with CPE (Continuing Professional Education) because I can get free streaming through the internet, but they don't like us using the bandwith (there's alot of us here using the free CPE webcasts). However, I bring my own laptop to work nowadays and do my CPE through it - I get speed than if I use my work PC, and I get to do Subsonic radio too.

You're right, mradamlaurie, there are some that feel that way:
You know you're a WDW nut when...
...you think of the WDW theme-parks like their members of your own family.
There are probably some out there that like the theme-parks MORE than they like their own families LOL!

Sherabby, that is a great looking set-up. It looks like you and I both have similar basements. You definitely have me beat in accessories, but I think I might win out in the size. So far, I have every train that they made and a Disneyland Mark V one. (Monorails: Black, Blue, Green, Gold, Orange, Purple

, Red, Silver, Yellow.)
Pictures for those interested can be seen here: (NOTE: Orange and Silver are now running as these pictures were taken before I had gotten them)

You know you're a WDW nut when you buy every single Monorail set Disney made!

Len those last few pictures looked so real!
PS I have a lot of little Disney things. The pictures I've seen have blown me away! But how many of you have original 1950's Disney movie give aways? Also 1960's die mold machine stuff. Where you put the dime in and it made it for you.

Haha the last ones look so real since they are real. If you guys behave and eat your vegetables, then maybe I'll let you come over and play with them.
Jacca, I wish I had some of those giveaways but it is way before my time!

I don't know what the official term is for their transportation maintenance station (reminds me of the old train yard round houses) - but I remember driving by it many, many years ago on a visit to WDW when I was a kid and my dad got lost driving at night. We stopped there for directions, and they were kind enough to give them (back then they didn't have the security like they do know). What was cool was the monorail trains were stored above and trains beneath the monorail trains. It was one of those times I look back that I wished I owned a camera as a kid!

Len they were before my time. Can you say the worlds longest yard sale. although the die mold are things my DW has had since she was a kid.

Don't have any of that, Jacca5660, but I have not been big in collecting park items or Disney collectibles. I do have some of the old viewmasters, panavue slides, and 8mm films that were sold in the park back in the 60-70's as souvenirs. That's some of my old park stuff.
As far as rare, I do a complete set of Madame Leota's 13 days of Christmas Tarot Cards in their original box given out in Disneyland at a special event for the Haunted Mansion Holiday's first year in 2001. That's my only rara avis.
I do envy Len's his massive monorail collection! I wish I could come over to his house and play with it! Len90, major kudos, dude!!
