Mindflipper is 100% correct. It's post trip depression. After all, I pretty much am the family travel agent and put countless hours into getting what I want (dining reservations) and getting things at the price I feel (ie car rentals and airfare).
I had a feeling that was the reason, but I wanted to be sure. For me, the music extends the magic, but it could be because living so far away, our trips are widely spaced and I need my Disney fix from music.

I listen to the music all the time and agree with you momeja ~ the music helps you remember all the fun you had while you were at the parks. Plus it is fun to talk about Disney things with others who understand

Many times...yes. Problem is finding a good job that pays enough to justify living there. We have friends in Boca Raton...so we have thought about moving there as well. Hard part in this economy is finding gainful employment...especially when I already have a good job here (Birmingham, AL).
But yes...we have thought about moving to or near Orlando several times.

Florida unemployment rate is high, and higher in more metropolitian areas such as Orlando. I think you're very wise to keep the good paying job first, and then seek to find something equivalent elsewhere (if any) second.

As far as moving closer to WDW. I got the offer 2 days ago to move to ST Pete ,FL making good money. I thought about it. I realized that all my family is here. The kids grandparents would have to travel to see them. I feel now its better if we stay put.

That is nice to stay by family. Disney will be there for many, many years, family won't always be around!

I almost hate that I moved away from Orlando. But I didn't have a career job, and our apartment complex was turning into condos. I didn't have much to stay for. That is the problem. I would LOVE to move back to Orlando, but unless we could buy a house and have jobs that could afford it, we really can't.

I wonder if a Disneyite moved to Orlando, would Disney become hum-drum? Many people assume all Kentuckians go to the Kentucky Derby. I've never been there and will probably never go. I wonder how many residents of Orlando have never been to Disney?

I would prefer to live about 2 or maybe 2 and half hours away from Orlando. You're close enough where it's a one tank trip and you're far enough away were it's not everyday.
