Wouldn't that be a conflict of interest? Considering that Reedy Creek Board of Supervisors are employees of the WDC?

Hence the reason why Disney did all this. They can avoid a lot of the "stuff" that normally delays projects. It is a conflict of interest, but I would believe that at times the county will be checking up on them too.

I believe it's the State that does the finals on projects at WDW.

I stand corrected on the permit, but it won't be Orange County Inspectors on the site - it will be Reedy Creek's.

I suppose that it's no different than a municipal building being inspected by city inspectors.

RCID has autonomy to build as they please, but they still need to file with the county.
They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Nothing but backstage stuff. You won't really be able to see any work being done (walls) until later in the year, if not next year.

I was there just over a week ago and there wasn't anything being done that you could see.

100 lane bowling alley

Either they are planning on getting the locals in with some league action or plan on being VERY busy with lots of guests. I honestly think that would be the first of the two since I don't think lots of guests will want to spend their vacation bowling when you can most likely do it for cheaper near your home.

Bowling is also something you do when it's cold outside! Disney did say it had 13 tournaments lined up. Maybe bowling allies are cheaper built en mass?
