Thats it now just take off the ears and put it on the EPCOT ball, or you know what forget the wizard hat put on a top hat with a blue band on it with the horns.

I'm not crazy about the big hat, its just OK. That park did need its own symbol, the water tower was too tiny. My biggest problem with the hat is that currently there is a giant High School the Musical stage blocking it making it look even worse.

I shouldn't find this funny, I'm sure, but I do in a morbid kind of way.

yeah pretty soon theres not going to be any room to move and most of the people are gonna go behind the hat and say "Hey look theres somethin back here!"

I wonder if when the arm from Spaceship Earth came down, should they have pulled down the hat also? Its now the trademark of MGM. The MK has the castle, Epcot has the ball, the AK has the tree, and the Hollywood studios has the hat. If not the hat, what would be a new and better object that could represent the Studios??? Its just in a bad location in the park.

Well It will make everyone sad to know that they have now added a lighting system in front of the hat. Now not only can you not see the Chinese theater but any photos of the hat will now have stage lighting in front of them.

I thought I had a photo of it but I guess I deleted it because it looked so bad.

blasphemy! What's better to establish "Disney Hollywood Studios" than a recreaton of the water tower at Disney Studios in hollywood? a hat doesn't do it...

Agreed, js3901! I can see how Disney was craving a centerpiece for the Studios that's more iconic and over the top = like the other three parks, but now that we're in the Hollywood Studios era, the classic, throwback (almost soon-to-be California Adventure) Hollywood of Walt's day makes more sense.

Funny, they had it right, messed it up with the hat, then changed the name, which makes the hat really seem outta place.
