Don't they have the pirate ship with the Peter Pan part now? I thought Tinkerbell used to fly around that, and I thought maybe Wendy was in there somehow...time to look back through the old pictures I guess...

Captain Hook's Pirate Ship - like the Seven Dwarfs mine-car and mine floats - had always been part of both DLR and TDL's electrical parades, but was never part of the original MSEP for WDW. For reasons never explained, WDW version had always been shorter than the other versions. Since the Disney's Electrical Parade is from DLR, these are floats are now part of the parade being seen now.

Oh ~ didn't know there was that big of a difference between the two coast's parades. I always enjoyed the mine car and mine floats...they are super sparkle-y!!

Remember, those were shots that were not blurry. All the others were so blurry you couldn't tell what it was.

Good, for a minute there I was thinking that TDO did not like Peter Pan. They took out the Peter Pan scene for WDW's Fantasmic. They don't have the pirates lair on Tom Sawyer Island in WDW. There isn't a Skull Rock in WDW like they had in DLR and in DLP.

Time will tell but it has been said by WDW officials that it will only be at MK for the summer.

Spectromagic was the first Disney park music I ever bought. It was a vinyl LP!

That would be a toss-up for me on the music I guess...and the parade floats too...I don't know that I could choose a favorite between the parades ~ they both have their good qualities...

The Mainstreet Electrical Parade has always been my favorite parade, and probably always will be.

Spectro is still intact backstage. Lots of rumors on the net about if/when it returns. We'll just have to wait a little longer than we'd like.

Last time there was a hiatus for Spectro we kicked out Roger Rabbit and moved in the Genie as his replacement...
