Seeing as how there are no fingerprint scanners at Disney, the answer to that is no.cy1229 wrote:Wouldn't the fingerprint scanner identify him?

Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Still think trespassing charges would have been a nice addition to the banning. I have always been fascinated by the backstage stuff being a huge Disney fan. However, I don't go sneaking around the parks and trying to find things out like that. If I really want to learn, I can easily take the tours and/or get a job as a CM.

Welcome to most of the guests that inhabit DL these days...Soarin08 wrote:Entitlement is the name of the game for 99.9% of guests. You can't even imagine. That's all I hear all day long. I don't care how much money you spent to come here. You aren't owed ANYTHING. Disney is above all else a business and like all other businesses in this world, there are things that go on behind the scenes that are restricted to the people who work there. It's like they can't STAND it. That was a big problem prior to New Fantasyland. "I'm an annual passholder. I DESERVE to get to see all this first!" No you don't, you have to wait your turn like everyone else.cy1229 wrote:Have you ever noticed that people seem to have a sense of entitlement when it comes to Disney? Kind of like "I paid all this money for my vacation, I have the right to do/see/be where I want, when I want, and how I want."
Get over yourselves, people.
It's part of the reason why we decided to not get our AP's back...good thing because we ended up moving...

I think we've actually seen one of this guy's videos on YouTube...we thought that maybe this guy was a new CM or something...but then we came to realize that he was sneaking in the backstage area. We couldn't believe that he wasn't caught!

Though. since he was sharing it with the public, he probably would have been in even more trouble if he shared the abandoned areas. He would have got away with it if it weren't for posting it on the net and eventually having it picked up by local news. He could have built a fort on discovery island and no one would probably have noticed for years.Soarin08 wrote:Idiot. All he has to do is get a job there if he is so obsessed with seeing backstage.IMO he isn't a true Disney fan since he can't respect rules and proprietary information.
Do they have cameras over every turnstyle at WDW? At DLR they do, and while government facial recognition is s*it, the private ones seem to do a better job, though they too can be fooled.

I don't know about everyone else, but every backstage area I have seen at Disney has been extremely disappointing. Why go through all the trouble just to see everyday buildings and pipes behind attraction buildings?

oh, so this is the guy that did the photog journals of river country and discovery island?

Yes they do. You'll laugh when I tell you where one of the main cameras is.Wizzard419 wrote:Though. since he was sharing it with the public, he probably would have been in even more trouble if he shared the abandoned areas. It's in the Tower of Terror sign on World Drive before you get off to go to DHS.
I'm not making that up. It's powerful enough to read all the way to MK. Several cast got busted for illegal dealings with main entrance passes via the monitoring from this camera.

I am not sure if the cameras they have at DLR are for facial recognition or if it is simply to prevent workers from letting people in without a valid pass/ticket. At

Having been there on the 4th of July at MK, I remember how they opened up the backstage area to handle overflow of traffic on Main Street. I wasn't impressed with the back area either, NaCler.NaCler wrote:I don't know about everyone else, but every backstage area I have seen at Disney has been extremely disappointing. Re: Man banned from WDW for life
I see them every single day. Still don't know why people fork over $74 for Keys to the Kingdom when it really is like a backstage area at any business. I mean, really... parts of the utilidors stink!NaCler wrote:I don't know about everyone else, but every backstage area I have seen at Disney has been extremely disappointing. Yup, but the fact that it is behind the scenes and not everyone gets to see it makes it that much more mysterious.NaCler wrote:I don't know about everyone else, but every backstage area I have seen at Disney has been extremely disappointing. I did notice that when we took our tour that included the utilidors years agoSoarin08 wrote:... parts of the utilidors stink!Literally.
