Which Resort would you choose?

easy answer for me the contempory hotel
for a little kid to see those monorails zipping through the hotel is a wide eyed expeirece any parent would enjoy
as a bonous both the contemp and the poly are both remodeling their room and a good chance of staying in a new room are looking real good as the month of august comes and goes

Definately stay at a monorail resort.
That said, the Contemporary is my favourite resort. If you can afford to stay in the tower, the view of the Magic Kingdom is SO worth it. If you can only afford to stay in a wing, it's not so worth it. Being able to walk to the MK is a plus. It's nice to walk back at the end of the day when everyone else is scrambling for a monorail, boat, or bus.
If you're looking to be immersed in a theme, stay at the Polynesian. I prefer the Contemporary to the Poly, but the Poly is definately themed well. A young child might prefer it as well. But you do have to walk outside to get to the main building and the resort is quite spaced out. A plus is being able to walk to the TTC.
I have nothing against the Caribbean Beach. In fact, it's probably my second favourite resort. But it's all bus service, which can suck, especially with a small child. The food court is amazing.
