Magic Journeys Music creeps me out!

Re: Magic Journeys Music creeps me out!
Yeah those videos are really weird....seems like it is mostly me that is creeped out by the music. To me, it's the music that would be playing in a nightmare where I am alone and walking in a desert or something in the middle east.... LOL! Creepy!

Everyone has their own opinion. To me, it's mostly harmless.

I have always rather liked it. It possibly does have a hidden meaning. But the song itself is not bad.
Re: Magic Journeys Music creeps me out!
Just the sound of the song creeps me out...not the lyrics. The tone of the voices throughout most of the song are part of it too. Sort of monotone and just plain creepy to me!!!!

I have always thought of the music more of a "dreamy" theme rather than creepy or depressing...alas, I have but one opinion.
To each his (or her) own....

It's definitely got that psychedelic vibe going on. I like it, personally, but then I'm a sucker for stuff from the '80s. (Curse you, the 1990s! It would still be the '80s if it wasn't for you!) That being said, I never got to see Magic Journeys, and from what I've heard it wasn't one of Disney's better shows.

When J's Captain Eo moved in, Magic Journeys moved into the MK where the old Mickey Mouse Revue was located (now the current location of Philharmagic). I can't remember how long it stayed there before it got replaced or was just closed.

I can't remember how long Magic Journeys stayed at the MK either. I know it was there when we went in 1992. On my next trip to the MK, in 2001, it had been replaced by Legend of the Lion King, which was the show that immediately preceded Philharmagic in that theater.

I'm trying to remember, but I had thought there was something else there - ever so briefly - between Magic Journeys and the Legend of the Lion King, but I can't remember. I thought it was another show in the same style as the Lion King...

That's what was there! I was trying to remember what we had seen in that theater as I knew Philharmagic wasn't there 10 years ago during our trip...Future Guy wrote:I can't remember how long Magic Journeys stayed at the MK either. Did you find out if there was another show in between the Lion King and Philharmagic?mindflipper wrote:I'm trying to remember, but I had thought there was something else there - ever so briefly - between Magic Journeys and the Legend of the Lion King, but I can't remember. Re: Magic Journeys Music creeps me out!
Since it was the first really good 3D I had ever seen when EC first opened, it was so cool, and I was really happy when they brought it to the MK(I don't remember when that was
). But such a strange and creepy film for sure. Then came Captain EO and HISTA, and the 3D was even better. Then, The Muppets, and Philharmagic, AMAZING!
