Re: Wishes from the Poly beach
I know they play the music on the beach at the campground. They have a pickup with speakers follow the buck board out to the beach.
"Our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them" WED
"There's a fine prow on that steamer, let's climb aboard her!" Fireside
"You're off the map mateys..Here there be SeaMonsters!!"
The original "LICENSE MAYHEM MARAUDER!!

we never got around to asking why the other beaches at the Poly didn't have the music piped in for Wishes...I guess I just assumed they would have it
the fireworks were still beautiful...but having the music to go along with them would have been great

The music was playing for the Mayhem Marauder's meet-up in December ~ that's too bad it wasn't playing for you when you were theretheBIGyowski wrote:we never got around to asking why the other beaches at the Poly didn't have the music piped in for Wishes...I guess I just assumed they would have it

Maybe there were too many complaints of raucous dancing by people with Dole Whips in their hands from that evening?!

...or maybe those people were actually annoyed by the fact they could never find where to purchase the rum to spike their Dole Whips.Amy wrote:The music was playing for the Mayhem Marauder's meet-up in December ~ that's too bad it wasn't playing for you when you were theretheBIGyowski wrote:we never got around to asking why the other beaches at the Poly didn't have the music piped in for Wishes...I guess I just assumed they would have it

Hey, I remember Mousekedude had a Spiked Dole Whip, and then there was a young lady - who will remain nameless - that kept a spare rum bottle and smuggled into the Magic Kingdom.Amy wrote:You're right, boilerdude drank all the rum...that wasn't niceWizzard419 wrote:This is why we can't have anything nice.![]()

Re: Wishes from the Poly beach
That's strange - I have watched Wishes many times from the poly beach, most recently in May, and it was loud and clear. Bummer!
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.
