On our last visit, we watched from the California Grill. It gives you a totally different perspective.

We've had bad luck watching wishes. The first time we saw it I lost my wife in the crowed and had to wait till the end to find her. the second time we saw it we right in front of the castle steps it as so packed we couldnt back up, needless to say we couldnt see much of the fire works because of the castle. next time were trying around Casey Corner I heard its a good shot.

Our first trip to WDW, my hubby and I watched it from the end of the boat dock at Grand Floridian-we were the only ones there, and it was a great beginning to our visit-what a fantastic memory!

Realistically the best way to watch wishes is to grab a spot really early and just sit there. Grab a bit to eat or an ice cream and enjoy. What are the best spots?

I've also heard it's great watching from the steps of Main St. train station, and then a quick and easy exit when the show is over. We're going to try that next time!

when we went, we watched it from inside Cinderella's Royal Table dinner place in the castle....good timing because we ate and the music played inside and the fireworks were right outside the window...it was AMAZING :)

the best place still would be at the hub, I assume.

The last time I watched Wishes we watched it from on top of the contemporary. That was a great place to watch the fireworks! And you can get up there without having to be in the restaurant initially. A def recommendation to all!

How long ago was that? Last summer ('04) we HAD to have reservations at the California Grill to See Wishes from the Contemporary. Is there another location to watch from to which you are speaking :?:

My parents were there in Feb. of this year and were told that they needed to have a reservation at California Grill to go up and see the fireworks. Don't know if this is something that may have changed in the last year or so?

It was just this past May that we watched it from up there, right before I left from my 5 month vaction :( . Well more of an adventure seeing I was there working at the AK for the 5 months with the College Program, but thats another story. BUT, the key to getting up there is to take the Elevator as far up as it can let you go, i think that is like level 11 or something. Then walk all the way to the end and out the doors to the outside stairs. Then take the stairs to the top. THATS IT! IF you were to want to go up via the elevator to the top, then yes you have to have reservations, but every building has to have stairs too. So they go to the top! :D Hope that helps!

Thanks for the info aquarian 256. I'll have to start another thread, but how did you like the college program?
