Any live cams at Disney?

Re: Any live cams at Disney?
I would be really cool to have a few around "the world." Think of it as cheap advertising, while those of us that just wish we were there could take a look at what was happening.
I think as far as the privacy thing, it will be so far away from being able to tell who is there that it would not matter.

New live cam from Fort Wilderness.

Re: Any live cams at Disney?
I've wondered about this myself but after years of not finding a "good" live stream I decided to start making my own videos of rides, attractions, shows, etc. Now I can watch them whenever I want. And, as you already know, YouTube is a great source for anything you may want to see from Disney World at anytime.

It's on air again now. Yes, it's someone vacationing there.Amy wrote:It was off-line when I checked this morningPolynesian Princess wrote:http://www.ustream.tv/channel/eyesonears-channel-three
New live cam from Fort Wilderness. Is this a personal cam that is being operated by someone vacationing at the park?
The site I linked is pretty good. It's not always available, but it is an organized website and is used pretty often. If I had to guess about twice a month?Satchel T wrote:I've wondered about this myself but after years of not finding a "good" live stream I decided to start making my own videos of rides, attractions, shows, etc. Now I can watch them whenever I want. You are correct, it is a very relaxing scene, but I would be more interested in something in the parks ~ like your Future World idea!theBIGyowski wrote:wow...this is so relaxing...watching and listening to that live cam!

It is relaxing! I'm enjoying watching people stroll by. Is anyone familiar enough with Fort Wilderness to know exactly where this camera is?
Sometimes the people have theme park view rooms - those are the best! You can watch Wishes live.
With all of the developments with smart phones, I think it won't be too far off before technology develops to the point where someone can stream live from the parks. The battery life and amount of data it would use up are probably the most limiting factors right now. It wouldn't be a stationary camera because the person is going to want to go out and experience the parks, but it would be really cool to follow them along their day.

Another great use would be on the animals at AK. It's amazing, we've watched this eagle nest live cam for awhile and my family loves it. You tend to get very close to animals when you can see them on a web-cam 24/7.

New live cam from Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House.
It's too dark to really see anything right now, but since I'm not seeing parking lot lights and cars, I'm thinking this might be a savannah view room.

That would be better than watching the RV's coming and going!Polynesian Princess wrote:http://www.ustream.tv/channel/eyesonears-channel-one

I think they show you a short 15 second or so commercial at the beginning when you first connect, then randomly a little one will pop up at the bottom of the video that you can x away. I'm not sure how often they appear since I usually have it running on a tab in the background and flip to it periodically.

Good to know...maybe I'll give it more of a chance tomorrow ~ especially if it is looking toward the animals!!Polynesian Princess wrote:I think they show you a short 15 second or so commercial at the beginning when you first connect, then randomly a little one will pop up at the bottom of the video that you can x away. Just wait until one is up where it's pointed at Bay Lake (especially at the castle).
I watch those pretty much all day listening to the boats coming and going and get withdraws when the person's vacation is over.

Did anyone else happen to be watching just a few minutes ago when they went on Everest? The room is a savannah view and I did see an animal this morning, but I was on my phone and couldn't tell what it was. But now apparently they're doing random in park streaming. Keep a window open and you'll hear when they start broadcasting.
