You may see me down there but I will not be running past you. I will be standing on the side with my coffee cheering you on.

I would prefer to be seated somewhere where I can watch it on TV with a nice iced tea...kcarts wrote:You may see me down there but I will not be running past you. I will be standing on the side with my coffee cheering you on.

I'll have to make sure I let you all know what I am wearing so you can cheer me on for real
And Amy I do remember that episode--that would not be a good thing, espcially at mile 12 or something--yikes!

We are right on track. I feel really good about it. There's not much I won't do for a week at WDW!

...and at the same time, it will get you in shape for walking your feet off at the parks...wewantsdaredhead wrote:Sure have mf...mindflipper wrote:And good luck, H! Have you started your prep work for the marathon?

Only crazy people run a Half Marathon or a Marathon...then spend several days after that walking around the parks with sore bodies and feet.
That said...I have run it twice...so consider me crazy.

Hard to tell, but was that a warning or an invite?theBIGyowski wrote:Only crazy people run a Half Marathon or a Marathon...then spend several days after that walking around the parks with sore bodies and feet.

Soooo, you're saying you should do all your park visiting before you run the marathon?theBIGyowski wrote:Only crazy people run a Half Marathon or a Marathon...then spend several days after that walking around the parks with sore bodies and feet.

haha...I don't know...but I do know both times I was so sore walking around the parks afterwardsAmy wrote:Soooo, you're saying you should do all your park visiting before you run the marathon?theBIGyowski wrote:Only crazy people run a Half Marathon or a Marathon...then spend several days after that walking around the parks with sore bodies and feet.

knowing how much just walking around will wear you out...it would probably be worse to tour the parks first...then run the race(s)
runners (myself included) are a different breed of people

Re: 2012 WDW Marathon Weekend
That's kind of what I was thinking ~ you might be a bit slower running if you had been walking around the parks for a few days first. My oldest brother runs Ironman Triathlons, my other brother climbs mountains every weekend ~ a different breed indeed!theBIGyowski wrote:haha...I don't know...but I do know both times I was so sore walking around the parks afterwardsAmy wrote:Soooo, you're saying you should do all your park visiting before you run the marathon?theBIGyowski wrote:Only crazy people run a Half Marathon or a Marathon...then spend several days after that walking around the parks with sore bodies and feet.
