He was running just fine 2 weeks ago. It's one of the few effects they work on to keep it working. If you haven't seen it running, then it's probably on an off day, kinda like the Gangster car in GMR.
That's good to hear. With so much of the ride dark and the fact that there is another key AA in the park that isn't getting fixed, I was worried last trip that he'd also been neglected.

I think it's one of few things in Dinosaur that they actually remove from the ride to work on it. A few years ago he was missing for a few months replaced with a laughable Carnotaur head popping up from the opposite direction from some bushes.

I was under the impression that dinosaur was intended to activate different dinosaurs on purpose to give repeat riders something to look for. That is mentioned in the animal kingdom DVD in the Disney parks series.

Nope. When it was Countdown To Extinction, everything worked. Now that it's Dinosaur, some effects have been turned off (flying pterodactyl and the jumping dinosaurs I can't remember the name of) and the ride has been toned down a bit.

Oh ok. I remember countdown being more intense. I liked it better.

I just remember as being driven around wildly in the dark and having a dinosaur flashed with lights. It was like Jurassic Park with the lights turned off.

Jurassic Park the ride or Jurassic Park the movie? If it's the ride, they are nothing alike lights on or not...

It was more metaphorical about the concept in general (remember, too, it was a book before it was a movie or a ride)...

^ To me, Countdown was just a cheap knock-off of Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Same track layout and bumps! Remove the Indy soundtrack and the skeletons, replace it with "Nope, not our dino!"

2) Expedition Everest (I wish they could fix the Yeti at least)
3) The Great Movie Ride (Time to change up some scenes)
4) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Time to extend the ending)
5) Tomorrowland Speedway

That seems to be an insult to IJ-TOFE, because it is a MUCH BETTER ride than Countdown/Dinosaur IMHO.
